Picked it back up from the dealership. Had a bad Uconnect Box that was constantly given an error for service so they replaced it under warranty. I also had them go over everything in the dash while they had it open to check for bad wiring and lose connections.

Everything is now kosher and it's back to wheeling!

It is a worthwhile mod.

100% agree! I had mine on the aux switches and ended up needing the switch for something else, converted it to this as it's easier to just turn it off and on while your in the engine bay. (For me it won't be a problem about forgetting to turn them off.)

Put the B&W BWRVK3600 25K hitch in today with the help of my son! It's a heavy hitch (215lbs) to do a heavy job, I am not into a light weight hitch! My 5th wheel is 17K loaded and we tried out the trailer on the truck, pin weight @3700lbs - the 3500 DRW went down 3/4", I think it will handle the trailer with no issues! :)

I have the same hitch in my 21 3500 SRW and the truck pulls my 5’r perfectly. It has 3 slides and a garage, 39.5’ long and about 17-18k loaded. I have a Mor-Ryde pin box on the trailer and it is quiet and smooth.

You will be happy with that set up. I also have an electric hoist in the shop to get the hitch in and out, that way I don’t have to take it apart.

Nice!
That thing is a beast!

Contemplating a Gen Y gooseneck, basically for a smaller footprint.
Jury is still out for me, B&W 5th wheel is the only alternative for me.

Got the Baja Designs OnX6 installed on the AEV bumper. Crazy bright and awesome beam pattern (driving combo). Highly recommend. Installed and hooked into ''AUX1'' and runs/works as if it were OEM. Very clean install and wiring, will post more pics soon. Had a tough time originally deciding between BD or Rigid but very glad I went BD. The construction, performance and all the components that came with it are of top quality. Seriously changes everything when it comes to driving on a no light road. Cannot wait for the A-Pillar XL Pro's to come in for the ditch lights. I dare anyone to high-beam me now, they will have a come to Jesus moment.

You can change that power outlet so it only has power with the key on. All you have to do is move a fuse. If I remember correctly it's fuse F91 and you just move it over half a position.
@matski you remembered correctly! The fuse is marked F90 F91. F90 = battery (full time power) F91 = ACC (power only when ignition switch is on.
Thanks again!

Nice! I got the same shipped earlier today from ETrailer. That will be the first mod to the new truck.

If you can score a Mopar 30K (Curt A-30) or A-25 cheap I wouldn't rule it out. I love my Curt A-25 I converted to puck.

Though I can see the draw to the Gen-Y or Goosebox, I double tow and some states don't allow ball on ball regardless of it being a fifth wheel trailer.

Does it even matter what other state laws are when you are from a state that its legal to double tow ball on ball?

I know here I can run b trains and pass through any province even if its outlawed and they cant stop me for it due to it being legal in my province. Even ball to ball

Just like concealed carry permits, not all states are reciprocal. For a DL, sure. But not for towing regs because they vary so much.

The chances of getting stopped are rare to none, but you never know if you'll run across that one guy having a bad day.

Nice, good 411.
Know a guy who got the Mopar with his HO.
He very much likes it, tows a Momentum 399, beast! Zero complaints.
