Are these trucks always in four-wheel-drive?

I have a question haven’t been able to find the answer to you on here. The other day I took off hard with the windows down and heard the front wheels scrubbing as I accelerated. Are these trucks always in four-wheel-drive some kind of traction control even if you have two wheel drive selected thanks

Nope. You were probably just pushing the front tires. Same thing happens if you take a turn too fast
