Just curious what your payload is if it's a gasser?
900-1000# more vs diesel typically

Mine is a diesel. The way its spec'd out my payload is 1,850lbs. ( I would've gone 3500 all day but my work pays for my truck and will only allow up to a 3/4 ton) But mine is also a mega cab. I think typically crew cabs are about 400lbs higher payload that the equally equipped mega cab if i recall correctly. The diesel block weighs about 750 lbs more than the gas block.Just curious what your payload is if it's a gasser?
Like mine.I ordered a well trimmed BH with most of the tech and do not regret it at all. 12" screen, 360 cameras, alpine stereo, and led upgrades along with others. Plus the grille on the BH looks wayyyyyyy better than the Laramie![]()
They're only taking longer if you ordered your Longhorn during the last half of October it seems. There's 6 of us from October that got passed over while they built 17 Longhorns that were ordered in Nov/Dec.Just heard back from my local dealer after missing our shipping ETA last week, newest shipping ETA was yesterday (3/7). Definitely seems like Longhorns are taking a little longer compared to the other trims...
Hmm..ok. Thanks for that info. Ya mine is just a gas 2500 CC, BH, short bed so anxious to see what payload it has. I'm hoping for 3000. Can't go by the website info. Thanks!Mine is a diesel. I wouldn't jump into a new truck and hit the highway, worst thing that you can do to a new engine IMO, the rings need cylinder pressure to seat properly and cruising at 65 isn't going to do that.Reading a bunch of people flying to Mark Dodge to pick up their truck and I'm just wondering about the break in period. It seems real specific, especially for the first 500 miles or so with making sure the piston rings seat properly and what not. Is this not as much of a concern as they make it out to be?
Any common denominators on the Longhorns?

You should be there. My boss had a 2017 identintical to my 2017. Both Crew Cabs, his was gas and a laramie, mine was a bighorn and a diesel. My payload was 2,310 and his was 3,100. That was back in 2017 but i cant imagine you will be way off.Hmm..ok. Thanks for that info. Ya mine is just a gas 2500 CC, BH, short bed so anxious to see what payload it has. I'm hoping for 3000. Only Canadian ordersJust spoke with my dealer. Order was placed with dealer on 2/21 and he said still no vin. Anyone else waited 2 plus weeks and haven’t had a vin assigned?
Only Canadian orders
Do you have a VON?That’s interesting…I wonder if they’ve even placed the order yet? Seemed kind of odd to me since most people comment on here that they’ve gotten a VIN within a week or even a couple days. Dealer told me 4-6 months for delivery, which seems pretty on par for what’s happening right now tho.
When I texted him he wasn’t at the dealership. He said he’d get with me on Thursday regarding a copy of the build sheet we made. I’ll inquire then and find out.Do you have a VON?
