Just thought I would report back I got a call from my dealer this morning that the part had come in. I picked it up this afternoon and installed it. It took longer to get the tools out and the taillight out than it did to get the part installed. Took about 4 months to get it but it works great!

Anyone measure the open/close/stud size so we can source one from an auto parts store?

No problem, I’m sure it’s a common size not specific to our tailgates. Just gotta get the specs to get around this parts crisis lol.
