2022 HD Crowdsourced VIN/Order Tracking

Thans for checking for me! Glad I didn't go backward again!
 
I’ve been wondering. Do Mega Cabs take longer to pump out? Seems like none of us are going from D status to D1 lately. Just an observation, may be off base.

I ordered a Mega Cab 11/17/21 and have an eta to the dealer 3/6/22 - 3/16/22. That's pretty average regardless of the options.

How long did it take you to get to D1?
 
I'm at about 4 months in waiting for a Mega currently in D status. But I'm in Canada and have a sunroof ordered along with everything else in a Limited.

Yeah, I ordered a limited too. Stayed away from the sunroof because I read it could hold things up. Should have just got it. Lol

As said its pretty random - my Megacab ordered 9/13, delivered 11/26 - and that was back when we were seeing longer waits. Current progress is as low as 8 weeks or could be 20, but lots seem to be 12-16 weeks regardless of trim.

I did the same thing. I don’t use the sunroof much so I figured from what I read, better leave it off. I know there will come a time that I wish I just ordered it.
 
On another note, my limited mega cab has not made its way onto a train as of March 2nd despite its completion on February 18th. Shipping from Mexico seems like it has slowed or has that been per usual.

My February bills took about 5 days to get its train ticket. I suspect it depends on the rotation of the train schedule based on final destination.

FAQs
What is the point of the crowdsource tracking spreadsheet?
To bring visibility to members of this forum to what trucks have been built and are being prioritized. While we'll never fully understand the prioritization Stellantis uses to determine what trucks to build, I believe more transparency is better. The more information we share with each other the better we'll be informed of what's going on across the broader production landscape.

Where can I get updates on my order status?
Your dealer and Ram Chat (unless in Canada) are your two options.

Does ODS have a special source for order status?
No. I'm just Joe Shmoe.

Where does info on the spreadsheet come from?
I check regularly for all equipment listings and window stickers. Aside from that, all info comes from members. The source of that info is covered in the next question.

Should I also sign up for Cryptostickers?
You might as well. They have a process to email you as soon as they see your equipment listing or window sticker become available.

How can I update my info?
There are many options. You can..
When will I get my VIN?
For US orders- VINs are typically available 2 days after your order has been placed by your dealer. Your dealer is the best source of your VIN. But you can also retrieve it from Ram Chat if you provide them with your VON.

Canadian orders seem to not have a VIN available until the truck is built.

What can Ram Chat tell me?
While Ram Chat won't provide status codes, you can sometimes tell the status of your order through the messages they respond with. For example, if they say you are in the "scheduling phase", you are in D status. If they say "all parts have been gathered and you are being sequenced for production" you are in D1 status and should reach out to your dealer for an estimated ship date.

What does D1 status mean?

Just added my order to your crowdsourced data base. Thats awesome! Looks like theres no rhyme or reason to how long it takes for orders to get built. I ordered a PW with L3. Hopefully I'll be closer to the 7-9 week time frame. Thanks for all the effort you put into this. Very good information.
 
I was able to verify my towing today with my VIN.

Same. Build date was 21 Feb on mine, but still waiting for a train ride.
