So…I ordered a Thuren Lift with King Shocks last June. I ordered it with Black anodizing instead of the Carli blue. Since then, my wife won’t be renewing her contract at work (teacher) so I am thinking about selling the lift when it gets here to free up funds.

My debate. I checked with CJC today and they said I have the “6th oldest King order from Thuren”. Guessing that means it’ll be another month or so.

They offered to send me blue shocks now instead of waiting for the black ones to get built.

What would you do? Wait for the black to show up or just accept the blue?

They say no cancellations on all the “paperwork”, but I haven’t asked them. I’m sure they would find another buyer pretty quick though.

you can probably sell them at a break even in no time flat if not at a premium. i'd take the standard aluminim/blue right now and get your cash out. that 10 month wait is nasty. lotta impatient people with money. good luck!

That’s what I was thinking. Someone would probably scoop them up quick to avoid the wait I had lol. Don’t think I would look to make any money on them, just help someone out.

Thanks guys!

What stage Thuren valving did you go with? It may be easier to resell a middle of the road valving and you should still be able to change if needed. Or if you find a buyer before you take delivery, you can get them the valving they want.

They’re stage 2. Wifey has had a terrible year teaching (some of it the parents, but mostly the other teachers they have). I’m going to wait for the black to show up and give her some more time to decide if she thinks it will her better.

Hope things work out for the best
