Seems like they are full of bad news today. The saga of my truck continues and changes! So three weeks ago they told me it was damaged in shipping, some kind of fender damage and would be repaired in no more than 72 hours. As of today it's No, the vehicle wasn't damaged the batteries were stolen and it is still on the rail car - seriously! Is Ram stupid enough not to go down to the nearest auto parts store and get a couple of batteries? I'm guessing the key fobs were stolen as well. Anyway I found another truck that is currently in transit to another dealer and told both dealers, whichever one comes in first, wins!

It's possible that they cut the battery cables, so it may not be an easy fix
 
Well my truck is KZX today. (line 924 wheelz). The wait is over. Wish I've amassed parts (like some of you) while I waited..gots some modding to do now and waste more money :rolleyes: Good luck to the rest of you guys...see you on the road...maybe. And a shout out to Officer Sanchez on keeping that spreadsheet updated.

Idk I thought one of the regular cab builds in here was one of the fastest built and delivered.

That would be awesome. I had heard that they group them up together and obviously there are less regular cabs to group. Maybe if you can get in with a fleet order? Think it’s all speculation.

It's going to be interesting to see how much of a drag your paint choice is going be on your build.

I think you are the first member on here to order a '22 with "low volume" paint.

I have changed the batteries in my 2019... took me a solid hour plus to remove them the right way. If someone stole them, they could have cut the support brackets for the fenders, any number of cables, the battery housing brackets, stolen the insulation that goes around them, etc... unfortunately, these aren't simple and there may be 10 parts that need to be replaced to sell you the truck as it came off of the factory floor. Sorry you're dealing with this, it's painful to not just get some communication as to what's going on.

I asked my sales guy, “How bad would I be screwing myself on wait time if I picked a low volume color?” He said no one knows for sure but I was already going to wait for a regular cab so go for it.
 
Are any certain colors being produced more than any other color? Of the high volume colors?
 
Color makes no difference as long as its not a limited color. the robots can spray black on one vehicle then clear the nozzles and spray white on the next one and then blue on the next one..
In normal times it makes no difference in packages.. a tradesman can go down the line right behind a limited.. right now it's all about what parts are available..

I was super curious to see which one of ours went first since you went Limited and I went Laramie. Based on our Vins it looks like we ordered within minutes of each other too!

Also, I won’t believe anything until I get the call from MD that the truck is in. You could still beat me!!
 
Got a call from Renae at MD to discuss pickup locations. Meeting in Longview, just under 250 miles. She told me still on track for 3/2 build date, and early to mid April pickup. We shall see. She said once built, 7-10 days on train to rail yard, then another 2 weeks ish on a truck from Port Allen to MD.
