Screen Protectors

alright alright alright. I've had the truck for a week and can see the piece of mind a screen protector gives. starting with el cheapo one from amazon.
I got the LFOTTP one on amazon, paid $6.33 for it. It came with alcohol wipe, microfiber cloth, dust stickers and a little suction cup to apply the tempered glass shield. Not bad for a cheap amazon product.

I just put this one on my 2020 Laramie 2500 tonight. I was pleased at how well it fit and how easy it went on. Started at the top and it practically fell on as I let it down slowly. Had one bubble when I got to the bottom right corner so I lifted it with my fingernail and worked it down with my thumb. It's a little cheaper than the Kykr ($19.99 vs $34.99 on Amazon). I'll update on how it does with finger prints. Only came with an alcohol wipe, small microfiber cloth, a "sticky" to pick up lint, and a semi-stiff cardboard squeegee

Edit: 08/23/2020: After using this screen protector for a week I can definitely say it helps with keeping the finger prints down. I've poked it every day changing SiriusXM stations and I've swiped the split screen NAV to bring up the map daily and looking at it closely this evening I did not see any prints, swipes, or smudges. I guess they really are worth it. Now I'm going to have to buy one for my Grand Cherokee 8.4 screen.

I got the Kyker version 4 months ago now and its great, no smudges or prints. Plus I got the 5 dollar warranty in case I were to bust it, or get in a wreck

I put the Kyker on within 2 hours of purchasing my truck. Best $34.99 I've spent.
I got the same thing , being great for 4.5 months now, nice piece of mind that I'm not scratching it. Plus i spent the $3 for warranty if i broke it, wich i normally do, but I didn't.

Getting ready to buy the LFOTPP. Every screen cover I've ever bought for a phone seemed to dull the picture quality and brightness. How does this one look?

My wife has noticeable scratches in the screen on her car. She did it doing something that had me dumbfounded why it sounded like a good idea...but nevertheless it was something you wouldn't think could cause a scratch. I would kick myself if it happened to this screen.

I put one of these on a couple weeks ago and have not had any brightness or quality issues. The only thing is if you wear polarized sunglasses, you'll get some distortion/color like you get when you look at some tinted windows. It wasn't distracting or a deal breaker for me though, personally.

I still have my lfotpp on there, cant tell it is there at all.

Best money spent lately, Kyker has been on over a year now and it has worked, can't see it unless you look at the corners.

The LFOTPP is great in every aspects. I found it also very easy to install and no dust is showing at all. It is cool to see the screen getting "sucked in" when installing. You will understand what I mean when you install yours.
Very high quality for the price.

100% satisfaction, just like looking at screen w/o protecter, no scratches smudges or dust, no issues, worth the money, would not be willing to try another product as this Kyker is perfect, for me anyway

Just ordered one, thank you for starting this discussion.

Fingers crossed the installation goes well, I have OCD as well (j/k I think) and cannot stand bubbles or specks in between the screen and protection, just went through 2 Tech21 tempered glass protectors due to specs of dust somehow getting in the way while installing it. UGH!

Just like DIY car painting in a garage (who does that???), it helps to wet down the area around the vehicle to keep the dust down. I use the shower when I put on phone/tablet screen protectors and rarely have a redo. I put on the Kyker on 2 years ago and it's holding up great. Zero issues.

Using the shower is genius!!!

You take your phone in the shower to rub out the screen protector?! I do other things
