I must have pressed some magical keys whn en I ordered.....got my equipment listing today from a 1/18 order. Line 953 on the tracking spreadsheet

I ordered 1/19 2500 BH, GAS. Can you tell me what you mean by equipment list? Is there somewhere I can go to check ours? My salesman told me it's in D1 status as of 2/19 with an est ship date of 3/14 which I know doesn't necessary mean anything. I would just like to stay on top of it. Thanks

Got my VIN via the email yesterday (had the vin for 2 weeks from MD and my build sheet) but still can pull up a sticker. I'd be interested on how long it normally takes from when you get a VIN to the point you're able to pull up your sticker - now that we know a rough average on sticker to delivery.

Mine was about 4 days short of 4 month. Build sheet showed up today. Nov 1 order with VIN the next day.

For reference only, as there are a myriad of variable in play that could have a negative effect....

ordered 1/5, equipment list 2/2, window sticker on 2/3 (if I recall) arrived in Port Allen 2/17, should be at MD in the next 72 hrs.

The Equipment List is just what it says - it is a multi page document listing the items (standard equipment and options) included on a specific truck. It does not exist until the truck is being built or completed. There are details of how to find that and your Monroney Window Sticker on Page 1 of this forum - suggest you read that - but nothing will be available until your truck is built so no hurries.

I have a similar truck on order as yours - ordered about a week prior to you. No build list yet for me as of today. Hopefully they'll be building some 2500 6.4L Crew Cabs soon (although, as many others have noted, there appears to be no rhyme or reason behind what's getting built and when)!

Yup - D1 on 2/7.

If your D1 you have a build date. 10 weeks here. Build date 2/2 moved to 3/11.

I’ve had 3 people check my status and all have said that I’m D1 but they don’t see any dates at all

Lots of confusion on the date terminology. The POC sheet that the dealer can provide shows an "estimated ship date". This date typically ends up being very close to the build date which leads lots of folks to refer to the estimated ship date as the build date.

If you haven't gotten the est. ship date/build date yet, you should ask your dealer for a copy of the POC for your order.

Dealer has played dumb for the majority of the time. Last time we spoke he said he didn’t have any dates at all and that they find out updates once a week just on status changes

Mark me as confused also. I was notified I was D1 on 2/22 then today I checked with the dealer and RAM Chat, according to the dealer I am back at D and he has never seen that before. Ram chat claims I am still in D1 and all of the parts are received and allocated for my truck, and that a build date should be coming in a couple of days.

I know I am not the only one, but it is frustrating anyway

Your dealer must not handle many customer orders if he hasn't seen one toggle back to D status. Several of the 1000+ trucks on the order tracking spreadsheet (including mine) have gone D -->D1-->D-->D1 while waiting to be built.

And don't believe anything you get from Ram Chat. It's a total waste of time.
