2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

my truck is shipped, but my dealer doesnt know where it is currently in the shipment, or an arrival date. Is that normal? Wouldnt they have estimated dates? Everything has been going smoothly and it hasnt been that long of a wait. I was just curious on how long I can expect to wait in shipping being from Canada. Dec 6 order, limited mega cummins 2500, window sticker Feb 7th, not sure when it shipped.

From discussion this AM with MD, MD is working to get those prioritized and delivered to MD asap.
(they do have an inside connection with transport, so that's good!)

My 12/22 order landed at MD yesterday, it arrived at Port Allen on 2/13 (approx. 8 days, for reference)
My 1/5 order landed at Port Allen on 2/17, should be at MD within a week.

So, sounds like it is approximately a week from landing in Port Allen to MD. FWIW

Also, once it lands at MD the comms are A+ from MD.

I have dual rear wheels; one on each side. Hope my rig makes the ride to MD with the duallys!

I got that email on thr 20th now I got this one today. Mind you my first order was lost in space and had to reorder from 9-8-2021

US orders dealer would get status sheet with tracking info showing most recent way point and date plus estimated arrival at destination (See attached)
Cant say regarding Canadian orders - but they are definitely different in other ways.

Has anyone ordered a Laramie with bench front seats? If so, I would love to see some pictures posted. I am on the fence.

Looks really nice - I had concerns about lightness of that interior and went Longhorn instead, but it look really nice to me and I now think it would have been OK.
As a point of interest to answer a previous question, did you get a package that would normally include power folding mirrors on truck (as opposed to chassis cab) and if so, did you get Power Fold Mirrors - previous indication was Chassis Cabs did not get those regardless of pkg.

Yes there is a 1 and two Laramie packages now and I know with my level 1 it comes with power folding. I did the night package too and was listed for power folding mirrors too.

I went with the Laramie level 2 package which is similar to the Level B equipment group on the normal trucks. Chassis cabs only have manual folding mirrors available. I'm going to have to be a little more selective about my parking spaces with this than I am with my 1500.

I agree with the parking thing. I'm not used to the WIDE turning of this massive long truck. My 1500 seems like a kidde car now:D But do I love this truck. Just dropped it off for ceramic coat will pick it up on Saturday, hope to have the Retrax cover next week and tinted windows. If so, pics will be coming.

The trucks most frequently take 22 days to be delivered from the date your window sticker is available, and an average of 28 days.

They look the same as a BH or TM 40/20/40, except for the surface (Leather instead of cloth). My buddy in AZ always sticks with the base seat in his Laramie's, so I could get a pick from him if needed. His seats are the beige leather, not black..... He has a 2017 2500 Laramie CTD and a 2022 1500 Laramie Hemi.
