id assume id use the MY2021 PowerNet ?
not the MY2013-2017 Powernet like this guide is telling me? he was using a 2018
when i go to run abs initialization it wont let me select start on that it is greyed out
that info would of saved a heart attack lol quick question im tryin to disconnect the two prongs under the dash any special trick getting those suckers out? for the bypass cableI see you got this going, but for the benefit of anyone looking, ABS Init just gives you a list of the next steps to perform, there isn't going to be a next/start button lit up.

oh ok appreciate it! ill probably just tuck it up until i have a recall or somethingYou can leave them connected and tuck the cable up hidden unless you're worried about a dealer finding it.
A very tiny jewelers or other flat tip screwdriver with 2mm or smaller tip, or a pick to release that tab. I found the picks to be near impossible. Lots of light and a good eye you're in the right spot helps.
I ended up shaving down the hooks on the tabs on mine enough so they stay in place but just pull out with a light tug.
Well I went to test 4hi and now there is a grinding noise when I turn. Could this have messed that up?
Yea hard dry pavement. So don’t worry? What really scared me was when I put it back in 2wd it still did it until I put it in 4hi again then back to 2wdNo, not that I'm aware. Where were you testing it? On hard ground (bitumen) or soft dirt etc? If it was on hard ground you were probably getting diff bind. This happens because when rolling distance between the wheels is different when turning and on hard ground can't "slip" to account for it.

Copy just paranoid about this road tripThe CAD was probably bound up, it sometimes takes a little movement to release.
I never would have expected you tried to check 4wd on pavement unless going straight.
IOW, don't do that. ;-)
