I just received this email from FCA "A MESSAGE ABOUT YOUR RECENT RAM VEHICLE ORDER", includes a note about welcoming to the the family, VIN number, etc. Does this indicate any specific status, or is this sent more randomly? I just checked with RAMCHAT on Thursday and was still in D status.

I got that one yesterday morning too, don’t think it means much, in D.

Everyone is right, this last part of the stretch is the worst. It’s half an hour from my dealer!

I can’t believe it, KZX today and it was just offloaded in Lordstown yesterday!!! Hit the Ram lotto for sure. I’ll post pics after it’s undercoated and ceramic with PPF on the front bumper in the next couple of weeks.

I got that same welcome email 3 different times before my truck was delivered. I think it’s really just a way for them to let you know that they have your email and will sell it to others to send you more junk.

Keeping up on the cat herding in this thread is pretty much F** impossible. The 1300 odd pages should be indicative of that. It's not for lack of trying, but for the most part it's a lost cause at this point.

What's ironic is some members that suggest moving threads after they become a distraction are the ones that start the off topic discussions in the first place. I'm guilty of a little OT myself from time to time, and that's to be expected in the normal course of conversation. but some just don't know when to stop, or when (or how) to start a new thread, or at least report post and ask to have something moved.

It's simple. posts need to be REPORTED. You can't just drop names (especially without tagging) in a post and expect it to get any action.

Simply mentioning "admin" (who is rarely around), "mods", etc. particularly without using the @ sign to tag anyone is futile.

They do a bit to the rear, never thought of the worklight idea, need to be careful with power fold mirrors though.

I'll keep that in mind. Mostly, I just leave the door open if I need light on that side. If it's that dark and I need it for more than a minute, I'll put on a headlamp or just use the Streamlight I always carry.

Hahaha definitely will. I have a Carli leveling kit with 17” Method 704 HD’s and 37’s waiting to go on as soon as I pick it up. Throwing the Baja Designs LED fogs on as well

I got the same email. Email stated it should arrive at the dealer on 4/8. What is your est ship date on your POC? Mine is 2/27. Dealer says they typically get the truck 3-4 weeks after that date so im still hopeful for a last week in March delivery.

I'll have to check with my dealer on Monday - I don't recall seeing a ship date at all. I just tried to look up my build sheet but I think the site is down, not getting the usual message I have in the past.

I started following this thread back in November 21, pulled the trigger and ordered through MD on December 9, 2021. Told 20 weeks, maybe longer...
MD called today (2/19) and the truck is on the lot! 73 days from the order date...
Not a braggadocios post by any means... (honestly, I wasn't prepared for it nearly 10 weeks early) but maybe some things are changing.
