3 loud beeps - 2022 Ram 3500

Hello All,

I have a 2022 Ram 3500 SRW Limited with Level 1 package and Snow Chief Package.

While driving randomly there is a loud 3 beeps/rings from the steering wheel/cluster area. No warnings, no malfunction lights, no notifications, no flashing warning messages. NOTHING, just 3 beeps. DEF is full, fuel is normal. Flat road.

Does anybody know what this is? It is random and not sure why it happens. They are distinct beeps.

Red light camera warning from the navigation system.

@Jimmy07 This has occured where there is no red light camera. It has occurred on small surface streets (no stop signs). In addition to this, I am not using the navigation at that times (rarely ever do).

On the 2022’s, no messages in the EVIC, that’s the only other thing the 3 beeps would be. Drive to a known red light camera, and see if it’s the same sounds you’re hearing.

Yes, they are identified on the nav screen.

I have also gotten these random chimes...all the red light cameras were removed from Tucson about 6 years ago.

Iam thinking it's some sort or warning from the NAV about construction.

I believe it warns you when you exceed the speed limit.

Yes, mine doing the same. It appears to be red light cameras (so far) for me! I use WAZE so the RAM NAV screen is not in the foreground, however, it still sends the tree beeps as I get within about a 1/2 mile of a red light camera.

I have a 2022 2500. When I get out with fob in pocket it beeps 3 times. I live in the country. No idea

I get that also and it’s happened at red lights and also I’m thinking when there’s congested traffic.

That's the horn honk, which is a different issue than the UConnect beeps in the cab that's being discussed.

2022 Ram 2500 When I leave my vehicle while it’s running, the lights flash and the horn chirps 3 times. Any idea how I might disable this?

I went in and uncheck red light cameras - not sure where Uconnect gets its red camera info but its outdated. Tucson voted to remove all red light cameras in 2015 - Uconnect still thinks we have them.

This happed to me for the first time twice this week Each time I came to the same two spots the thing would beep, since I wasn't using the nav I couldn't tell what was going on. This was great info thanks.
