2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Anyone heard of any legit changes to the 2023 Ram HD ? I've got 2,100 miles on my 2022 and itching for ordering the next one.

10 speed?
Colors?
Wheel options?
Added tech?
Power upgrades?

2022 Patriot Blue 3500 Dually Limited Longhorn 6.7L with 4.11 gears.
New mirrors

Found out some info today. Price Protection covers the price increase in the MSRP and not the package increased costs. When it was FCA they used to cover the entire price increase but now that it is Stellantis they only cover the MSRP increase. Just some info that may help everyone.
On a good note, I am taking delivery of my truck tomorrow !!!!

What dealer told you this fake news?

What dealer told you this?

Kufleitner Dodge. I was told by my friend who works for them. That info came from the regional rep and what Stellantis told them. My price went up over $3,000 from order but the packages had a difference of $297 which is what I am paying over when I ordered not the $3,000.

Glad I went to MD; Full price protection.

this is the wording I have seen for price protection more than once on the internet.
Any price increase that takes place from the Vehicle order date and the Invoice date to the dealer can be price protected.

A claim for price protection must meet the following criteria.
  • Signed and dated buyers order with customer information
  • Delivered to the customer it was ordered for
  • Delivered with 14 days of arriving at dealership
  • Delivered at the agreed upon price from the original buyers order.
  • A Deposit is not required but recommended as a best practice.
The Dealership has to go through an exception claims process. Your dealer may not be aware of this process, but in today's landscape it is more important than it was in the past. If you have a good relationship with your dealer and you signed a buyers order you should be in the clear on this.

My dealer has told me they wont raise my price, i pay what we agreed, only way I would have to pay more is if I ended up getting a 2023 and not a 22. I just read the agreement I signed, and if my dealer does raise the price on me, as stated in the contract that they can, and I dont want to pay the new price , if I traded in a car, which I did, they must return said car to me! Its right in the contract we signed. Well my truck is long gone and sold, so I am not worried about them raising the price. Or they have to pay me the value of said trade we agreed on in the contract, $83,100 plus a new set of cooper tires :) They already assured me, the deal we signed for, is the deal I am getting.

that honestly sounds like some BS, doesnt even make sense. I wouldnt be paying any increase myself.

The way I see it, if you and someone agree to something, they take money from you, that's a deal. I am not a fan of all of these, "well prices increased, so we had to raise what we agreed upon" bs statements. I was told there may be a few hundred and based off what I saved that is fine. It's a whole other thing when you go in and they're raising your price a few thousand based off inflation.

I did everything over email and they did not require me to sign anything. $100 deposit and I got a copy of the POC. I am fine with the $297 increase since they are honoring my original trade price which they say has decreased some since it has been over 2 months. How it was explained to me was that they asked Stellantis for a corrected invoice reflecting the original price we ordered under. Stellantis came back with they would honor the original MSRP but they increased the packages by $297. I'm not surprised that there are different deals for people, since reading the posts on here for the last 2 months, there definitely doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to what Stellantis does. Look at the order the trucks are built in !

Hello all.

Dealer just emailed me. The truck is scheduled to arrive in Kent, WA on 3/3. They usually see the vehicle arrive at the dealer between 7 and 10 days after this.

Dang, the yellow looks great with the black front end. I, personally like the Tradesmen look.
After all, that is what I ordered.

I’ve scoured this thread and then some trying to get a handle on a PNW dealership. Doesn’t seem like there’s that many in the thread here. Dennis Dillon and Dave smith aren’t close to MD and the local jackals are 5-10k above msrp. Right now my two options are Granger out of Iowa and MD out of Louisiana. I’d prefer to find someone closer but I haven’t had much luck as of yet.

Anyone had luck in the WA state area or am I best paying shipping from one of the above two?

Hello.

Rairdon's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Monroe charged me MSRP only. No markup. I've been working with John Knudson there. My 3500 is on the train and due at their dealership on 3/10. If you decide to check them out, please let them know Brian sent you. ;)

Take care!

Well mine finally came in on 2/14/2022. Took possession on 2/16/2022. Truck is awesome, dealership honored my affiliate pricing. Only got to put 17 miles on it but she is home and I am back to work for 19 days. Thanks to all the help this forum has provided in tracking, checklists and things to look for when working with the dealership.
