That's Aaron on the left, then Charles, then me. Ron drove all the way to a hotel near the New Orleans airport this morning to pick me up, then drove me the 200 miles back to MD. Arrived around noon.

She's a beauty for sure! (See signature). I then hopped in and eased my way a couple hundred miles west to Katy, Tx where I'm spending the night. Went easy on the speed today for break in. Tomorrow's a different story, as I continue on the ~2,800 mile trip back home to the NW. On the way to MD, Ron gave me a running dissertation on all things Cajun; even stopped at a classic hole-in-the-wall cafe shack and bought me some freshly made boudin. I never heard of it, but never tasted anything so good!

The entire experience from Sandi, Charles, Jason, Ron, and Aaron at MD was stellar as many of you know on this forum.

I’m headed to MD tomorrow to pick mine up! Not that far of a drive for me tho, in MS. Boudin was a staple in my home growing up. My favorite is smoked boudin. Also, tons of side dishes made with it! Good eating. I’ve made a many of meals on a link of boudin and some saltine crackers!! Mmmm! Hope they steered you to some good ones.

Question, MD advised my truck had arrived in Port Allen on 2/8. Curious on when your truck arrived in Port Allen. Trying to possibly estimate when the truck might arrive at MD. Also, how many days was the make ready at MD. Finally, congratulations on your new truck!

Great looking truck. Going to have to check out this.....food you speak of!

I was advised my truck would arrive at the port on 1/18 and might take up to 3 weeks to get to MD. However, it only took 2 days! It arrived at MD 1/20.
