2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

My Equipment List status changed to: "Unable to fetch required information. Please contact System Administrator"
What is that suppose to mean? Glitch in the system?

If you check your equipment list more than 17 times in a single day, the system will flag you and provide that message . . .

JK;)

LOL... good one.
I usually check once or twice a day, but have to admit I'm impatient and would love to see some movement.
Ordered on January 16th, VIN # 3C6UR5KL1NG244942

ok everyone this isnt sitting right with me the more i think about it. The dealer i bought my truck from special order mind you says the owner makes them put the tracker on every vehicle they have at the lot. I do not want them to hack my wires etc up from a shotty installation. i have a text message saying tis included in my agreed upon price. but its not a stock vehicle it was ordered specifically for me. what gives them the right to put something on the truck without permission. if it comes down to it and they try charging me i may walk away from my deal and contact FCA and make them aware of what's going on. I googled it and a lawyer site came up saying its against the law and should be reported. what are all your opinions

Easy now, it’s a simple module that can be removed. It’s not to track you, it’s to track the truck while they own it.

When searching my VIN on FCA equipment listing I’m getting a message of “Unable to fetch data. Contact your service administrator” when I previously searched last week I got the no information is found for VIN provided. Is there an issue with the fca equipment listing site?

Same here, don’t think they’ve been made.

nope I looked up the system the dealer tracks how you drive and sends you service notices based of driving conditions etc. it definitely tracks you there is a member on 5thgenrams that removed it they hacked his wiring pretty good. I'm not ok with this in a 80k truck. should have stuck with Renae at mark dodge back in November.

Hmm, I never heard of this. Sandi from Mark Dodge has been my sales associate, she never brought that up to me.

this is not on every truck that I know of. this is something local dealer installs on all the vehicles they say because the owner makes them. this is not a normal stock unit but my special order so not sure why they must put it on. I won't pay for it. it's like 700.00. have text from my sales guy saying Its included in the price I was given. but still this guy's truck wire was mutilated by whoever installed it. if I want stuff like this on my truck I will add it myself.

Are you financing it through this dealership directly? That’s the only possible way that I could see letting this happen in any way. Guarantee that they have a deal with a data mining company to buy the info from the trackers too.

Fair point. Things like that happen more often than many of us realize. It would be interesting to see what percentage of units are damaged between the factory and delivery. There is a lot of potential between the trains, trucks, and even just accidents on the dealer lot or shop mishaps. Just from watching how fast the rail yard jockeys fly in and out of the railcars, it's a wonder that any of these thing make it to the dealer in one piece.
i agree, i bet its higher than most think!

Will a limited 2500 come w rear wheel well liners? Just saw a vid where a bighorn 2500 did not
yes it should, my 19 limited had them and there was no extra charge on the window sticker for them, and when i ordered my 22 limited, there was no option to add them so I can only assume they will be standard equipment.

Maybe you should copy and paste your past issue from FB so everyone knows why...
I have a thread on here as well. I should update it a little though. I got the mega back from service department this morning and all is well (for now) if it messes up again they told me its getting a new PCM. It seems to like to screw with me when I'm towing, which ill be doing Friday-Sunday

found this link after reading the manufacturer homepage. it's a company the dealer said bought out LoJack.

no and it's a dodge ram fiat dealer. they said there whole lot gets them. I can see if this was a stock order but not someone's special order vehicle built for that person alone.

I wouldnt want it either! Most these trucks already traceable anyways from factory which is bad enough since we cant access it after the trial unless we pay a way over priced monthly fee. I would fight it just like you are and probably use another dealer if they wont budge. The fact that they wont budge off it is scary. The $700 charge alone would be enough to go somewhere else and not pay an extr $700
