Hello all new to this site today and hoping I’m posting the right way. I have a 22 2500 Bighorn sport. I have the snow chief group but the block heater has no cord. I did get the cord from mopar. The issue I’m having I cannot seem to figure out how to route it properly utilizing all the push grommets on the harness. Is there anyone that can point me to photos or a diagram I have searched high and low to no avail.

Snow chief has nothing to do with block heater thats the cold weather group

How to run the cord has been discussed a few times so if you search hopefully it comes up. Or come up to Canada we’ll show you as we learn it in grade five school….along with building an Igloo. :D
I’ve tried searching it here but will
Keep trying. I have found threads On the aftermarket ones not OEM. I will keep trying thanks for the response.

The block heater is an option. If you do not show it listed on the build then the cord will not help you.
I would check your build sheet or window sticker and see if it was included.

I have the block heater and per the salesman it is a standard on all the 6.7 Cummins now. The cord however is an option. I have the cord plugged in and found where it attaches at the end in the bumper it just the in between that the grommets aren’t lining up with anything.

All the cummins have the heater installed, just not the cord.

Well that’s good, at least you have the heater already installed. That is the hard part. I have two Laramies ordered and both were an option for the block heater at $95. My 2018 was also an option.
If I get a chance I’ll see if I can follow the routing for you.

Once again, the block heater is installed on every Cummins B6.7 sold to RAM that leaves their engine plant.

You're paying $95 for the cord and plant install, or the equivalent price if included in the cold weather group.

Now I have to go find where the plug is. I have a block heater on the build sheet. What side off engine to start

If you have "block heater" ($95) on your build, the cord is there and hiding behind the bumper where the license plate bracket is/might be.

I have a suspicion that those finding them in the cab have dealers that may have left it off their build on submission and corrected the mistake, or are just trying to make an extra $40 by leaving it off the build and getting one from parts.
