Wheel hop ?

I don't seem to have any wheel hop issues... when I get spin in snow, I get a clean break of traction without hop. I wonder if that's a diesel thing. Haven't had an issue with my old KO2s or with my Mickey Thompson ATs.
 
I've also never had a problem with wheel hop offroad or in snow. The only time I've had hop is on wet pavement and flooring it from a stop going up a hill and I blame it on myself. Throttle modulation is a real thing.
 
Would custom arms with Johnny joints stop the wheelhop? This kinda thing is usually the loading and unloading on the bushings.

If you mean replacing the rubber bushings in the radius arms with johnny joint, on the axle side... that would severely limit flex.
