2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

How many miles are on your guys trucks when you pick them up from the dealer? How many would you consider too much? Given these are custom ordered trucks for a specific customer, I see no reason for the dealer to drive them around town, or is there? They are already tested at the factory, then can do their inspections, but is there a driven inspection the dealers do? What would a typicl mileage be on a custom ordered truck picked up from dealer?
10 miles +/- maybe less but not much more

Waiting on my 2500 to get here. ordered on 1/10/2022. Have VIN but not much else. Dealership said should be arriving around the first of the month.
First of March? That'd be one of the quickest build/deliveries we've seen on here. For your sake, I hope he's right...but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Mine had 14 at delivery.

That would be a nice drive weather permitting - but be aware it often takes a week or more after train arrives to (1) unload train at Port Allen and (2) transport to Mark Dodge.
I haven’t made any solid plans yet.

Dont believe everything you get from dealer or RamChat as to dates. Even if you had Equipment List and Window Sticker already, shipping would be tight to get it to you by first of March - or did you mean April 1? Once you get Window Sticker, the dates start to mean something but even then they frequently shift to the right. But wishing you good luck stranger things have happened.

D1, hopefully it doesn't go back to D, 1st of the month will be a stretch.

WooHoo! 7 months 2 weeks 4 days = 28 weeks 6 days = 202 days from order and my truck is finally at the dealer! 9 days on a train, 23 days sitting in the rail yard. The dealer just called and let me know. I asked her for some pictures and I'll upload some if she sends any. Going to try and pickup tomorrow or Thursday.

Good to hear..

Was just reading an article regarding Chip Shortages and how GM seems to be getting the needed chips via a secondary market with no plans to shut down any of their facilities. Ford on the other hand, has plans to shut down several (8) factories due to the non availability of these same computer chips. I find it strange there is such a huge difference in how each Major Manufacturer is coping with the Chip Shortage. I wonder how Chrysler is doing in this same market?

I wouldn't trust those vehicles. The chips on the secondary market are sketchy and not completely trustworthy. The chips on the secondary market are either made by manufacturers that are not main-stream or the chips didn't pass the QC of the main-stream manufacturers.

After driving for a few days.. just wanted to give my honest opinion..
I have owned multiple 2500 mega cabs with and without air suspension. After receiving my 22 with high output And rear air suspension I will not be ordering a 2500 again with standard output… The power difference is huge and the 22 aisin software shifts really well. I don’t notice any difference in ride when air pressure is dropped to 55 psi in both trucks.. Go drive both of you can.. Just traded in my 21 2500 with 1700 payload rating for truck below with 3600 payload rating.. Just my opinion..

2022 Ram 3500 SRW with air suspension delivered!
