What dealer is it going to? Mine is going to MD so I’ve been wondering what the average time between train and lots is these days

Chapman in Horsham PA. Rail trip for me was 1/12 - 1/30. But the journey from mexico to PA is quite a bit further than to MD in LA. There is a guy on the crowdsourced spreadsheet two or three rows above me that had a very similar timeframe as me for actual build time, but his went to MD and was on their lot before mine even got off the train.

How was your experience with Chapman? I was told to try them.

Hey all. From Canada and looking for some assistance in determining what exactly a code means. I placed an order on 22-01-13 and still waiting on a VIN. Dealer advised yesterday status has been changed to: BG - Order has passed edit but cannot be considered for scheduling.

Had anyone run into this in the past and if so so do I wait this out and eventually they will build or does this mean it’s dead in the water and time to reorder?

So far it's been good. They are quoting at 5% under invoice and were upfront about additional fees (doc fee, tax and tags). After ordering, always got responses for updates within a couple hours. As mentioned, the truck is currently sitting at the rail yard. Once it comes in and I have it in my posession, I'll post a complete summary. But if you are looking to order sooner than that, here is my contact:

Completely second what franko said. I also ordered through Ashlie at Chapman on 12/11 and got my sticker on 1/29. 5% below dealer invoice plus the same fees here for PA. I would even get responses from the owner of the dealership when asking for updates. Always the same day, and always straightforward with all the details. Hoping to get a rail car number next week and follow my new ride up the tracks.

Pick ‘er up last Friday. She’s a beauty. Hit 20.5 average mpg on the way back to Seattle. Pretty impressive for 6.7 CTD.

We will just get a phone call from whatever Ram dealer is in your town that it’s ready to pick up. Might be easier this way

He knows what the code means. Because of it's meaning he wants an opinion what to do next.
 
After 207 days, I finally picked it up yesterday. Appreciate all the info and also all the "WTF's" thrown around this thread! It was a long wait but well worth it, couldn't be happier and already put 250 miles on it in 24 hours just for the sake of driving it!

Waited 214 days for mine. 3500 SRW Laramie cummins HO, air suspension, gooseneck, bed group, laramie lvl A, safety group. Buckets, brown interior, white, chrome. Sticker price of the truck increased a little over $3000 from when I ordered. Got the truck for about $11k off sticker. Currently dealer sells all HD trucks coming in for sticker minus 1k if financed through the dealer. So waiting for 7 months saved me 10k. I think it was worth it.
 
found this limited longhorn at the virgina beach boat show today. stock vehicle for southern greenbrier ram in Chesapeake. sticker is 89k. jealous as I still wait for my laramie. others have recieved there's before me and also drw Larime ordered after me not sure whats going on but hopefully I will get mine built soon
