gotcha, with some of the misinformation, and lack of, creating the back and forth drama from D to D1 back to D, and Ramchat not even giving status codes anymore, basically everything I read on here, I have resisted contacting them. So I'm just waiting on a e-mail or call from my sales lady.

But seeing what you know about your order, I couldn't resist anymore. I chatted this morning and was told my Laramie has all the required materials gathered and the plant has sequenced the order for production. Should be entering the build very soon!

I did not get an estimated build date, forgot to ask.

I think it's funny but also clever how they ask for your VIN, and then comment with "excellent color choice of bright white on your 2500 Laramie!"
It's a check to make sure you are both talking about the same vehicle. Because I would pipe up if he said excellent choice of Delmonico Red on your 3500 chassis Tradesman...ummm that's not my truck. Lol.

Anyway I did find out, according to Ramchat that the Limited I ordered in November was in fact cancelled. I suppose that makes NG196622 status of ZA...?

If you actually call them, it's a lot more personal and they give status codes and more details.
 
I received an email from Ram last night estimate delivery date is now Feb 2 - Feb 21. Last week it was Jan 26- Feb 8. This was shipped on Nov 13. I feel like Ram doesn’t care at all it’s been setting in Baltimore for over 2 months. I’m just really PO on how long it’s as talking. The dealership has vehicle’s on there lot that was ship in January and Ram doesn’t care about customers that has put orders in. 3C6UR5KL4NG100558

Same status....still, crazy!
 
Well, I was hoping this would be my week but it's starting to not look that way. Ordered 10/25, went D1 on 1/10 with a 2/2 est. shipping date for my HO Longhorn. I keep hitting refresh on the build sheet link, but nothing but disappointment :(

Truck has arrived at the IHB Gibson Rail Yard in Hammond Indiana at 3am this morning. Closer to Lordstown Rail Yard each day. If any member has a truck that is being delivered out of this rail yard near Chicago, It should be at the rail yard.
 
I’m trying to order a 3500 mega cab and they are telling me I can only get the HO engine? Is this true?
 
Can I get excited finally and believe that it’s happening? Contacted Ram Chat and they said that my order has been scheduled. All parts have been gathered and the build will begin in the next few weeks. Am I finally, finally in D1?

Spoke to my dealer the other day who updated my ship date from 1/29 to 2/9 but seemed confused with the status code. He thought it may have gone back to D which didn’t make sense. Called Ram and I was told I’m still in D1 but there isn’t a ship date or build date yet. I was excited with the 9th but now I’m confused and don’t know who to believe.

Not getting hopes up, but nice to know there is a progression there;

ORDER DATE: 01/05/2022
VIN: 01/06/2022
EQ LIST: 02/03/2022

3500 Laramie 4x4 Night Edition DRW 6.7 HO, 4.10, all bells and whistles < safety package & sunroof (did not get those 2).

(This is a reorder => original order was on 12/22, that order is D1 est build 2/2 w/ eqp sheet)

Just enjoying the ride over here, hoping ya'll keep taking deliveries out there!

Very true. Took the wife's Palisade in to get inspected yesterday. Just happens to be across the street from the Ram dealer I ordered my 3500 Limited on 11/17 and was told was being built on 11/30. I walked in to talk to the sales guy about side steps and possibly changing the order to add them or just putting it on the final "we owe" to which he replied, "We can't change it, it is still being built". I asked for the status code of the order. He comes back over and tells me it is "D". I said "D" or "D1"? He said, "No, 'D', that means it is being built". I said, "You mean to tell me my truck is still being built since the end of November?" He said, "Yes, it's a Limited, they take a while to build."

Thanks to the wisdom of this forum and fast forward about 20-30 minutes later, with build code printout in hand, I conducted training with the sales manager, salesman, and a poor soul behind the counter who looked like he wanted to crawl away and hide. We talked about the difference between D and D1, VIN and VON issue timeframes, build sheets and window stickers, real assembly time of a 3500 Limited (not 2+ months), QA, freight and delivery.

Bottom line, I sold my Tundra in December thanks to the recipe above. We haven't had much snow in Virginia this year, but have had some. It would be nice to have a 4WD for freedom of maneuver. Instead, I will enjoy my snowy days at home with the Nissan Leaf in the driveway and hope the Ram arrives sometime this year. In hindsight, I had a quote from Kernersville but allowed the local dealer to match them. Doom on me.
