2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Gotcha! I think I'll go with a 295/70 and gain an additional inch of clearance. I think a 295 is 34.1" I don't want the rubbing since I will be off road quite a bit. Thanks for your help!
If I would have known it would be that close I would of went with the 295/60 which is 34.1 by 11.5. They also hang out quite a bit also.

Really saddens me to see some of these good people not getting the product they expected or wanted simply because someone lacked the info or didn’t care to do the right thing.

Maybe in my next life I could try my hand at selling HD trucks for Ram. Would love to have my own little Ram dealership.

Car dealerships are just like everyone else, struggling to find good help. My rep was good, but young and I felt I knew more about the trucks than he did. But thanks to the research I had done I knew enough to make sure order was what I wanted.

Thanks. I was referring to the equipment list. Maybe tomorrow morning...
I hope I’m right by saying your equipment list and window sticker should appear any day now. Especially with you being D1.

My previous order is exactly 1 month before yours, my current order is 10 days after yours. Both D with no equipment lists. But orders all around them on the sheet are moving; a few even delivered. So hope is high my friend.

Ordered on 12/14 from Dan Cumming's in Georgetown, KY. 2500 Laramie; Crew Cab; Hemi; Night Edition, with sunroof and safety group B. It was built around 1/20, and I just checked the rail info and I think it's maybe in Dickson, TN? Hard to understand the automated voice on the CSX line. I wonder if that's the end of the rail...and now it's truck time? Getting a little excited here.
How do you check that

You won't get an equipment listing until the build is beginning. Shouldn't be "any day". Gotta watch close to your estimated build date.

Edit: looked at his build date...it's today. So, ya...an equipment listing is close.

Where do you get an estimated build date? The 10-30 week window that some dealers are giving?

My salesman was only twenty two, but he was on his game, showed Genuine excitement for his product and had impressive knowledge about what he was selling. I felt like I sat down with myself and built a truck. He even double checked on restrictions to be sure I’d be getting the exact truck I wanted. It was refreshing. Usually I have to hold hands with the salesman as we build a vehicle.

Guess I need to email MD since I’ve gone D1 finally. Be nice to know estimated build date. Once built, what is average timeline to dealer?

How did you find out D1 without hearing from MD?

Date Printed: 2022-02-01 3:04 PM
Estimated Ship Date: 2022-02-02 2:00 AM
Date Ordered: 2021-12-04 9:58 AM

Is the ship date the same as the day it gets built?
Never was clear to me.
The Est Ship Date on the POC is essentially meaningless - however there have been cases where Equipment List posted on or close to Est Ship Date on POC - which generally means truck is built - BUT after that it goes out for any outside operations such as bedliner and then goes to QC before it is released for Shipment. The elapsed time from Build to Ship may be days or weeks.

@NordicNevs
For what it’s worth- my equipment list popped up 3 days (1/27) before my “ship date” (1/30)
My window sticker popped up shortly after, on 1/31.
Dealer says truck is waiting for a train ride, no eta

Noted:
However, How do I tell about the equipment list?
And where can I get a hold of my window sticker?

Day 206, my truck landed at the dealership late last night! FINALLY. My dealer reached out to me and said it won't be available for pick up until Friday. I haven't had the chance to call him back as I was at work late last night anyways but why would the dealership need to keep it for 24 hours? I will gather more information as soon as I am able to call him today but wanted to see if I was getting jerked around or if there is any validity in what he said.

They have to inspect and prep it

In normal times, they can probably knock out a pre-delivery inspection and cleaning/prep in a few hours. The number of trucks your dealer has in the delivery queue and whether or not they're dealing with a lack of employees due to sickness or other issues may be driving the need for more time to get your truck ready for delivery. I think a day or two is reasonable and I wouldn't want them to rush it anyway.

Thanks, that does make a lot of sense now that I think about it. It has been sitting in a Conex for 2.5 months. Guess I am just overly sensitive since I know its literally sitting at a lot 20 minutes away from me right now!
