2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Today I'm at exactly 8 weeks from order. Window sticker 1/10.
At last update from dealer, was expected to be delivered to them between today and 2/8.

Sounds good. 8 weeks is not too bad. Hopefully I’ll get mine in a similar time frame. Thanks for the info.

@brv10 , If you have a chance can I bother you with an update to see if my build has caught a ride north yet? The salesman seems reluctant to return my calls. He hasn't answered the past 3 days while others said they would make sure he got the message. Once the truck is headed north, I want to start searching for the finance part of this equation to hopefully lock in a rate before the fed raises the rates.

Thanks in advance.

I would be nailing that salesman to the wall when it came time for the survey from Ram. The dealer that I bought from fires salesman that get bad surveys from customers. I was told that it cost the dealership money from Chrysler.

My original salesman has already quit for another job. I was just given to this sales manager. Than being said, it has a VERY large impact going forth on where I get financed, warranty, future work, customer survey etc. They did real good when I bought my 2020, but that was a different time.

I’m in the same position as you. Just waiting for a spot on a train the last I heard. Then I’m headed to the bank to lock up a loan. Lots of banks have already increased interest very recently.

A question for those that may know. When a truck hits the final rail stop, does the dealer get any kind of eta as to when it may hit the dealership or does it just show up when it shows up? My dealer has not been real great in getting back with me, so I was just curious.

I think once you ship form the factory, they assign an estimated delivery date, or a range of dates. That date or range of dates may change though. There are several on here who's dates just keep getting pushed further and further out.

Gotcha. Yea I’ve got the date range, I was just curious if the dealer eta window narrows once it gets off the train and what the dealer may know. Based on what I’ve read though it seems the dealer may only have limited information as to when vehicles show up on the lot.

They don’t have an ETA because the rail portion is out of their control. I want to lock in rate but I can’t because most preapproved rates are valid for 60 days, but with the weathers , protests and Covid nonsense, god knows when they will arrive at the dealership. MD said they would not start any paperwork unless they receive the truck.

Truck was in Kansas as of this morning. Probably another week before it hits Lordstown Ohio Rail Yard !!
