2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Hey I’m not sure if your the guy to tell this to, but my truck arrived 3 days ago but I haven’t taken possession yet. Paying half down and the bank said it could be up to 14 days to receive the funds, they are holding the truck for me though. It was a super quick process and she is gorgeous.
I am not.

Good to know on BNSF. Just found out I’m KZT on BNSF as of 1/26 headed to Granger Motors. I won’t bother stressing myself out if others haven’t had any luck with them, I’ll just wait patiently.

I'll be curious to see how long your transit time is on this (although they all seem somewhat random). Mine was built 1/24 and also headed to central Iowa.

Anyone know how long after receiving a VIN that it will show up in the VIN payload/towing lookup tool? Just got my vin in the last few days but it doesn’t appear to work in the tool yet.
Probably not til it shows up in your Mopar Garage if you have one - that was about same time I got Equipment List (Truck built), maybe a bit after, but definitely by time you get Window Sticker

I think not until your build sheet is available. Could be when Window Sticker populates.

I have weathertech guards on mine too.
got weathertech font and rear for my xmas gift from inlaws. was excited saved me 300.00. bow just waiting for it to be built. weathertech is nice because it covers the hum in front and rear. not sure if the oem rubber ones do or not. but for 150 I doubt it.

It would be really nice to at least go D1 and get a build date
why I am d1 with no build date. was told d1 for 47 says. was told building soon but we know how that goes it's a lottery of who gets built when.

Probably at just "D"...not D1.
no I actually called the phone number not ramchat and was given this info from an American girl who worked with corporate. I have the number saved in my phone in case I want another real status check. she asked me if it was a trx or pw because those have had hold ups I said no 3500 drw she said yup long waiting list on them as well. so all she told me was all parts have been there since pretty much order time and waiting a spot on the line

Maybe @brv10 can give you the real scoop.

For a DRW? Mine were 60 total front and rear for my SRW.

can anyone with the collapsible mopar step post a pictures of the rear bumper from the side? Or, can anyone say definitvely if the mopar steps extends beyond the bumper at all when tucked up / not deployed, making the truck length just a bit longer?

I would have to take some pics, it comes out from the driver's corner of the bumper about a foot or so. When it's up you can barely see it, nothing sticking out but the tab you use to open it, the bumper sticks out farther

Thanks.
I understand that when it is deployed. But for clarification I’m asking if it protrudes past the bumper at all when it is not deployed.

No real delays on my PW but I didn't get the tow tech or safety group or digital rear view camera.

Anyone know if there is an engine shut down timer available on these new pickups? I thought there was.

For those who aren't familiar, you are supposed to idle your truck for a few minutes after getting off the highway and let the turbo cool down. It's recommended that the faster you were driving and working your truck, the longer you should let the turbo cool off. Well my wife and I have long been in the habit of doing that on our trucks. I had read about a feature where you can have a timer set so you could leave the truck running, lock up and walk away. This is rather convenient when you get off the highway doing 70 mph and pull into the gas station and you want to go in and get some soda or something. As of 2019, this feature was only available on cab n chassis models. I thought I read something about them being available on pickups now.

Found this in another thread however I can't verify as I don't have my truck yet!

Found this in the owners manual. I wonder if this could work? Dealer programmable also.

IDLE SHUTDOWN
This feature can be enabled so that the truck
will automatically shutdown when the truck has
been idling for a set period of time when the
engine is at operating temperature. Idle time
can be set in 5 minute increments between
5 and 60 minutes. See an authorized dealer to
enable this feature.
NOTE:
The idle shutdown timer is disabled while the
PTO is active
