Diff covers...when too much info is bad sometimes

i really need that front skid that is next on my list.

what license plate holder is that that you have the lights mounted on? I need to ditch the stock plate bracket

That plate is good for stopping rocks and such but it will not stop a rock crawling style of impact. I was hoping it would be a but more robust but it is far from a skid lol, just fyi

That is the feniex bracket. I use it on the front and rear

thanks. I know I should have said deflector instead of a skid. I want it more to protect the synthetic line from mgchloride during the winter.

Depending on where you use your truck; that deflector will get ripped off and possibly cause worse damage than not having it on at all. My bumper is all torn up and bent under the front lip from rock shelves.
FYI: Rustoleum truck bed coating is basically the exact match for our bumper in regards to color and texture.

At least they look to have maintained the shape of the diff cover for good fluid flow. I’d think they’d be a much better option than the little skids you can put on the front diff too. The look like big levers that would just snap their bolts off if they encountered any large impact…

being lucky enough to live next to AEV r&d I had the fortune of letting them use my truck to test the fit. the AEV is exactly the same shape as the stock from an internal stand point just thicker and stronger.

That’s sweet! Maybe I’ll be buying a set

It would have been nice if they tested the rear diff cover before selling the old one for 2019+ trucks. Hopefully, they fixed the overspray on the bolt threads too. Don't worry, if you run into any of these issue they will offer you a $7 discount

And according to Banks videos, your pinion bearings hate you
That video Banks made was enlightening. Thanks. I'll pass it on to thge owners of my last two trucks. The 07 with 180k, and the 16 with 70k.
