Has anyone installed the rough country wheel well liners (4609) on the HD ram? I cannot for the life of me get the thing to sit right and the holes to line up. I tried it with the original 1/4 liners in because I wanted to use screws and not push pins. When that didn't work I pulled out the original liners and I still couldn't get the holes to line up. Any tricks would be helpful. Also anyone add fender flares with these liners? Is it even possible?

I tried them first and couldn’t get them to fit so I got my money back. I went with Husky liners and they were still a little aggravating but they fit where as I couldn’t even get the rough country’s anywhere near the holes.

really, the husky website is telling me they won't fit my truck. Which ones did you get?

I got mine in, but it was a real pain in the ass. Horrible experience, but glad I have them.

Got any tricks lol pretty sure the neighbor's kid's ears were bleeding when I was trying. I am assuming you removed to the 2 like 1/4 liners first. I wanted to keep the screws and use those push pins so I was trying it both ways keeping the original liners in and removing them.

Lots of skinned knuckles, sweat and swearing. I honestly don't have any tips. If I remember correctly, I just removed the fender flare screws that aligned with the holes on the liner, and only loosened those which lined up with the notches on the liners. It was awful, and I don't know if I'd do it again.

Man, I sound like a bitch.

lol, no worries I gave up, after lots of swearing a nice gash on my hand from the sheet metal and realizing I just got beat by some plastic.

Ok so I got confused. I ended up getting the rough country liners and got them installed. I had tried the rugged liners from realtruck.com and they were the ones that I couldn’t get in and were very badly made. Sorry for the confusion.

My install took a little while to get right. I had put them in and take them out several times before I got it right.

I have the RC liners. Installed them a couple years ago, but i don't remember them being troublesome.
