ECO mode / Cylinder De-activation / MDS - How Do I Turn It OFF

The pulsar lists the option of MDS deactivation

Anyone have it and can confirm it disables MDS?
Pretty much every reviewer on that page confirms

that's great, for some reason can't see the reviews on that webpage

Has anyone bought one of these yet? If so does it work? It looks like in the picture that you might loose cruise control, or not? Thanks in advance!

It says 6.4 Hemi by the price. But in the description listed below it says 5.7 Hemi?

I must have gotten lucky on my 2020 6.4 as I am approaching 9000 miles and not once have I noticed MDS. What is it doing that bugs people? I have read the sound is different and it can feel rougher, mine has neither of those things. Occasionally the eco green light comes on but nothing changes as far as feel or sound of the truck.
Mine is barely noticeable as well 2022 6.4. I did have a 2015 1500 with 5.7 MDS that was so bad it would stumble all the time and constantly shift gears on freeway with little or no hills. Dealer could not fix and said normal! I ended trading it off it was so bad.

I am now at 17000 miles and still seamless.

I agree mine is pretty darn seamless. The only time it really annoys me is when I’m in my neighborhood going ~20mph or less and it drops into MDS and there is a hill in my ‘hood and the truck seems gutless but I don’t want to give it more fuel since I’m in the ‘hood so I just push the - button most of the time

What button?

Jimkill, I think Rockcrawlerdude is recommending to kick it down a gear. This will force the engine to rev a little harder, thereby overruling MDS.

No, pushing the gear +/- button keeps the truck out of MDS even if you select it up to 8(th). You don’t have to drop a gear to rev it out of MDS

Thanks for the tip - this is good to know. I’ll be moving from an EcoD to the Hemi, so trying to learn and prepare while it’s being built.

No need to shift to lower gear, just use the -/+ button to show 8 and it will shift as normal just keep MDS off. I use it that way all the time and still get 15+ MPG with 4:10 gears.

I have the 3.73's and cant get over 12.5 MPG mixed driving :(

Had to edit my mileage, I had done it in my head and when I did the next time and saw the difference I recalculated the old one and realized the difference, but I am still more than satisified as that was highway and all running at 70 to 80 mph.
