2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Yup, I’d say you might be confused. Here’s the engine plus trans package price on the Canada build and price. When you select “see included options”, it lists the 6.7 Cummins and the 6 speed transmission.

Canadian Window Sticker (circa August prices) shows $7295 for Diesel Engine + $2155 for 6 speed Transmission.
Total $9450 (Canadian) - but still cheaper than $9400 US converted to Canadian

Confused... it's where I live. I thought I'd seen something like this somewhere. And, back in this most complicated thread in the history of mankind somewhere it seems like somebody was quoting the $7k engine price which spawned a discussion on why the heck a Cummins option should be cheaper in a foreign land. Anyway, with Aced's help it's clear that the option is numerically very close. The exchange rate these days is running around 80 cents US to a CDN dollar so you could say it is definitely cheaper up there. However, an after-tax Canadian dollar is a rare and valuable thing. All things considered, RAM should be able to give us the Cummins option for about 20% cheaper down here. You an bet they are making good dough on each and every Canadian sale.

the engine is only one part of the build that is cheaper, when you add them all its a significant price difference. I calculated $7,000 for my exact build, $5500usd. Thats not chump change

Definitely before 10/13 when I ordered through Mark Dodge. I wanted MSM and was told it was no longer available.
Did a search on ram site , I've found a few max steel hd trucks on lots..the one serial number was ng214xxx. Ordered sometime in Nov...

is anyone signed up with cryptostickers.net? It is normal to give false indicators? Got an email update from cryptostickers saying my window sticker was ready, but its not? When I try to view the window sticker, just says its not available yet.
That happened to me. But by that same afternoon, it was available.

Ha crazy. They did tell me they could try to change down the road if it becomes available again. Obviously you lose your locked in price blah blah blah. Never heard anything but also haven’t seen any posted either so I never followed up. Back in Black again!

When i started looking for a new truck last fall, I watched every ram review on YT possible. Most were 2019s, 2020s and 2021s. Many showed MSM, but I could never find it on ram’s build page. I just assumed they removed the color all together.

Yeah but to my point. It seems dealers are not transparent. I remember when ordering a custom color BMW a few years ago. Most dealers would string you along and didn't have an allocation for months but they'd take your order, input it into the system and it would sit until picked up for their allocation allotment. They'd lie through their teeth about the status of orders. Sure seems like a similar scenario here.

That's what GM is doing right now. Have a Yukon and two Tahoes on "order" and no I'm not buying all three. Only one of the dealers required a deposit and none of them have contacted me back since I ordered (been 6 weeks for the Yukon) - I've talked/texted a couple times with the two other dealers - havent contacted the Yukon guy b/c the package we want is on constraint and may be that way for a while.

Called about an in transit Tahoe the other day, of course sold, they called back today and asked if i was interested in ordering one. Said sure thing - do you have an allocation today that is available - he wasnt expecting that and said no...told him I'd order one from them at sticker if/when they get an allocation. Don't expect to ever hear back from them....

hey everyone -- anyone know if Limiteds are taking longer on average due to additional tech needed? Google sheet shows a lot of Laramies being d1'd recently over Limiteds.

Month to date since placing my order, of course anxiously waiting like the rest of y'all.
I placed my Limited gas mega cab order 5 October and vehicle arrived in VA on 14 January. Not sure if this helps, but it seemed to be about what I expected. Took over a month to be delivered though. The truck was built on the 12th of December.

Picked up my truck today. So nice to be back in my 2500. I love the safety features that I did not get on my 2020. I can say the wait is well worth it, 5 months and 1 day from order to dealership. The new 10-inch screen and the added features on the Uconnect 5 are great. Love the blue tooth connection for the Android Car Play. It will take me a while to get my truck totally set up the way I want it.

I drop it off tomorrow to get the windows tinted then I will be able to take a few pictures to post.
