Why is the cummins engine so much more for US customers than Canada? $9450cdn which is about $7500USDis the figure on Canadas build site.. If I go on the US Ram build site, it shows it a $9400usd option!! When looking at US customers windows stickers from the spreadsheet, people are getting charged $12295USD for the cummins? When I look at a CDN windows sticker around the same date, they got charged $7295cdn, which is $5800USD. That is less than half the price Americans are getting charged! Thats a lot of extra money US is paying versus Canadian orders! Finally Canada is cheaper for something lol But why such the big difference?

I am in the same boat. Ordered 11/17 too. The sales guy at the dealer called and told me it was being built on 11/30. I called him on 1/3 and he said it was built. Ram chat today stated still in scheduling 50+ days later. I don't have a build sheet, sticker, or clue as to what is going on. The best part is I sold my Tundra in mid-December figuring it would show up around the beginning of the year. Now I get to cruise around in my Nissan Leaf until.........
Maybe the US has higher emissions standards and therefore more emissions equipment to add on (shrugs* I dunno).

there is a guy on here who has his truck already or it is in shipping, but when contact with Ram chat, they said it wasnt even built yet. He even posted the screennshots, so i wouldnt trust Ram chat too much on progress lol
LOL. that's a buddy of mine. I told him he is very lucky. Mine was the same truck without the Mega part. Took 5 months to get and he ordered his two months ago and it just got built!
It’s because the Canadian vehicles/options are priced for the market, not the actual USD vs CAD conversion. That’s why stellantis voids the warranty on Canadian vehicles that are shipped and resold in the US, because identical built Canadian trucks are priced cheaper than US trucks converted dollar for dollar, and no more warranty discourages that practice of taking trucks out of the Canadian market.

makes sense, I was wondering why trucks are that much cheaper here in Canada when you do the conversion. I would be a bit pissed if I was American lol Nothing else is priced for the Canadian market, they just convert it and make us pay double lol. Knowing Ram could sell the trucks for cheaper in the USA but they take advantge of the higher priced vehicle market and gives Canadians a discount? Hmmm the way the world works I guess, wouldnt sit that good with me!. You would think the free trade should protect all this. I know nothing about that though.
Haha I made the same mistake. Sold my 07 duramax because the dealer said I would have my truck in November and now I’m on my second 02 trailblazer junker with no build date in sight… guess that’s what I get for trusting a car salesman… won’t ever make that mistake again

I just ordered a 2500 CC SB Big horn yesterday. Crystal Metallic , Sport package, digital mirror, LED headlights, level C and ram box. Wondering which one of those options is going to screw my build. Dealer told me to expect 25-30 weeks. Hoping for less but I have a perfectly good truck that will get me by until then. Hopefully the wait puts me into some good incentives 
Im going to try really hard to just forget that I ordered a truck until May or so.
Dealer also said that Ram would be sending me an email with a VIN within a couple days. Is that how it works? Seems everyone is contacting RAM chat to get their VIN.

I just ordered on Jan 10. I now have a VIN assigned to me, but that’s about it. No email from FCA/Stellantis. This attached document is specifically for fleet sales, so I’m not sure how accurate it is for individual consumers.
My dealer told me 12-14 weeks (Laramie, bucket seats, bright silver, snow chief, off road, or much else).

I guess I did pretty good then. Mine was 16 weeks 3 days from order to delivery. That's far from 22-26 weeks.

That’s insane, I thought that the situation with chips was improving.

sorry for all the questions today, but I just got my VIN and trying to understand everything. So I signd up to cryptostickers.net and got an email about an hour ago that my VIN tracking info has changed. It says a build sheet is not found, but says sticker is found. When i click view sticker, it says a window sticker is unavailable for this VIN? Is this normal with cryptostickers or what does this mean? I’m almost to 18 weeks no movement so all depends if you hit the ram lotto and a few of us who don’t wait a very long time. It 3-4 months or 6-8 not much in between
