Just pulled the trigger this morning on a 2500 6.4L Crew Cab Limited Night Edition - now the wait begins. Salesman told me 3-4 months, I laughed, he laughed - then I asked that he send me the VIN as soon as he gets it. Thanks for all the info on this site, made my decision a lot easier.

I am basically doing same thing... Going from a 2020 2500 4x4 Laramie 6.4L to a 2022 2500 4x4 Longhorn 6.7L, getting 3k more for my 2020 with 22,000miles than I paid for it...

That is why I can afford my new truck also. I'm getting $6K more than I paid.

Unfortunately no, that goes a few rungs up the ladder at corporate, I believe your dealer should have gotten notice of that and contacted you about it, I just looked and you are still D. What was the color?

Do you have access to all orders or only from a certain dealer? I’m having trouble getting anyone to answer the phone so I can ask for an update

I am getting 4k more than I paid and a set of tires, lol. But the best part, is I am also saving $8000 in taxes. Be hardly any taxes on the new truck, that is a huge savings!

I hadn't noticed that I could enter my VIN into the towing and cargo capacity page. It worked fine. Maybe it gave me the same numbers I'm going to see on the door post sticker when the truck arrives.

its a tradesman thats why, the lowest trim models will have the highest payload. All those options of the more equipped models add weight and take away from payload.

yes the hemi lol, you will get more payload! lol not towing though! The box of my truck is treated like a trunk, i tow trailers when i need to haul something I have a one piece painted to match tonneau cover! Currently hanging on my garage wall waiting on the truck lol

My dealer said they only get status updates at the beginning of the week. Is there any truth to that or should they be able to see more up to date info?

Thanks, figured as much but figured I would ask. Color I ordered is Maximum Steel Metallic Clear coat.

On what date did you place this order? Maximum steel metallic hasn’t been available for quite a while now. I remember reading in this thread that Maximum steel and the olive green were cut months ago because of supply chain issues with the pigments.

Whoever nebr is on the spreadsheet you are the next name under me with the exact same truck, ordered on the same day and you already have a build sheet. I’m very jealous. There definitely seems to be very little sense to be made of how they schedule the builds.

4 August. If that's the issue, no one ever bothered to contact me to discuss changing colors. My dealer is having his regional guy check to see if that's the issue.

Agreed. There have been plenty of builds like mine that have been completed and a few delivered that have been ordered after mine. From what I know, I got thrown back to D while others are being completed. Uggg.
