2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

You know if they sell an option for remote start then say it won’t work without a pay for play app I’m guessing that a good attorney would be able to make hay with that. I’m thinking there must have been disclosures.
Anyway that’s what I’m bitching about. Some may say, “You don’t have to buy the brand.” Greed sucks. Just cuz you can charge more and more doesn’t mean you should.
Toyota started the downward spiral a while back. That last is low. Too many companies are doing the same.
I agree. I, for one will never pay for their Uconnect subscription service that should have been included for free when you pay $95,000 for a truck or pay for an over priced Sirius radio subscription when Apple Music is included with my Verizon phone service. Why do I need to pay $200+ a year for an over priced subscription radio service that is equivalent to a rip-off cable/satellite TV service that gives me very little programming and a whole lot of commercials. I don't subscribe to any of them. What happened to the days when all subscription services were commercial free? I'm guessing they will sucker in the young people that don't know how things use to be.

Now look what you have started. Now you have me off on a rant...

If it's on the east side of the Mississippi River it's on a CSX train.
Or Norfolk Southern. Mine was Union Pacific to New Orleans and then was on Norfolk Southern to Winston Salem, NC. Luckily someone on here added the tracking number for NS so I was able to track it past New Orleans. Now I’m just waiting for it to be delivered! Friday will be 22 weeks.

Yea I forgot about Northern Southern. I guess they handle some the Mid Atlantic states. Mine was on CSX after it left New Orleans for it trip to Orlando Florida.

Just to cause some grief and anxiety for myself, I went back to the tracking sheet. From the time I canceled my Laramie, 10/7 till the time I ordered my Limited, 10/28 there aree 18 lines without build sheets/window stickers. All are either Limited Longhorn (5) or Limited's (13). Thats what I get for wanting Power folding mirrors and 360 truck view. I will call my dealership today or tomorrow to see if I'm still scheduled for 10/23 shipping. Probably not

From my 1st POC when I ordered my truck the price has increased $2,670. Base price increased, Diesel Engine increased by $95, Laramie Equipment group B increased by $300 and Night Edition Package increased by $100. Dealer said they will honor original price but that everything is a fight right now !!

The Laramie that I canceled because of limited options was ordered three days before the Limited 3500 that I ordered and just took delivery of on the 17th. The Laramie that I canceled is still in "D" status and it was ordered on 9-11-21 and of course my Limited as I said was ordered three days later on 9-14-21. I have been driving my Limited for a couple days now and have 140 miles on it and the canceled Laramie doesn't even have a build date yet. Go figure...

Also had that ash material in mine today, no odor though. Sorry to hear about the windshield, hopefully they make it right ASAP.
Thanks. They had glass guy out and already had a claim on it to get the glass replaced.

Some of you need to start acting like grownups in this thread, stay on topic, and stop bickering like children.
Don't you know that the only difference between children (boys) and adults is the price of their toys. At least that is what my wife says every time I buy a new truck. Other than that they don't play well together all the time, hence the bickering. :p

My canceled Laramie is already built & should be at dealer soon if not already there.

Right!? I’m just trying to help them out.

I priced one at one time and it was a little less than the one I just bought. I just don't like those V8 diesels, of course unless it's one of those big CAT's like maybe a 3408 V8. Don't care for the 3208 V8 CAT's either.

How long does it take for FCA/Stellantis to "Accept" an order after the dealer places it?

I think that depends on a lot of factors. Parts availability, current production run, etc etc. Mine went D the same day it was ordered (7/29/21) and then took almost two months to go D1 (9/14/21)
