2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

It's the surround view , that's what confused me when I ordered.. I'm hoping it was taken care of..
Bummer. I know the surround ones won’t work because of the way and location they must be mounted on the trailer. I’ll make my wireless one work, or I’ll order the other one from my dealer.
the one for the rear view i believe is the extra camera in the chmsl light on the cab. the one your asking him about i have as well in my build and it attaches to the back of your camper or toyhauler. its called wired tow mode camera. you would place it on you camper where you want and then would get to see it in your rearview mirror while driving if im not mistaking. i might be wrong so if i am i hope someone will correct me as well.
Yes you are correct. I ordered the digital rear view mirror, so I’ll have the hook up for the single mount tow camera in the bumper of the truck. That camera I can use with the trailer I want it for (I have 3, but the 18 footers are easy enough to maneuver…the 40 footer is a different story!), as you can mount it pretty well anywhere on the back of the trailer. Yes, that tow mode camera can be triggered to be viewed in the digital mirror.

Mine got to the dealer around 4pm today. Tried to get them to pdi it for me but they wouldn’t. I went down and did all the paperwork and will go get it around noon tomorrow. It was dark when I got there so I couldn’t get any pics, but here’s the one they sent me when they got it. I was just a few days shy of 5 months from when I ordered. Pretty much loaded Laramie.

3500 Laramie MegaCab

Ordered - June 17
Arrived in Port Allen, LA - Nov. 11 (missing key fobs)
Arrived at Mark Dodge - Jan. 11 (no damage other than original fobs missing)

Missing fobs took around 2 months to correct and that was with Mark Dodge putting the full court press on Ram/Stellantis and making magic happen. Replacement fobs were coming into Port Allen a few vehicles worth at a time so short supply of those might be a thing or just not enough work force left to handle such things. I should be flying down and driving it back to MT in a couple weeks.

Glad you got your truck! About time!

The one I ordered is the one that cost 995$, I belive its the extra camera for the back of a trailer like a camper.. I don't have a camper ..its call trailer surround view camera its towards the bottom of the build page on ther website..

Question: Are build sheets and window stickers released once per day by the Ram LOTO system, or throughout the day?
Same as officerdirtysanchez said, once per day.
But I will add that I’ve read somewhere a few hundred pages back from Jimmy007 that equipment lists pop once per day Mon-Fri in the morning.
Window stickers pop once per day in the evening 7 days a week.
So it is even possible that your equipment list could be made on a Friday, but not show up anywhere that we can see because it was after they were generated for the day. So it won’t show up until Monday morning. But in addition your truck could be built and window sticker be made on Saturday or Sunday and show up over the weekend. So it’s possible you could have a window sticker without an equipment list. I have not seen that scenario play out on the tracker yet though.

Also, the build sheet is what your dealer should send you when you build the truck and shows the options you selected. It is not nearly as inclusive as an equipment list, but the build sheet is the very first thing you’ll see and has the VIN.
Unless you live in Canada.

Well my truck made it to the dealership, unfortunately the damage hasn't been fixed yet.

I have noticed that most of the members vehicles that sustained damage has been primarily to the bumper area. This leads me to believe they are being towed off the railcar due to being caught up in the missing key fob business that is going on.

On the rear bumper the circular contact marks look like they are from the tow hooks of the vehicle being towed and the front bumper appears like it came in contact with the hitch receiver of the vehicle pulling it.

Since I haven't witnessed how they did things can't say for sure but, they are definitely being pushed into those parking slots.

Found my window sticker this morning. Everything I remember ordering is there, plus some features I didn't remember but am glad to have. I didn't see the box coating but no big deal if it's not there as I can easily get that done here. I'm beginning to wish I ordered the auxiliary switches, 'just in case'. I had them on my 2011 dually and never found a use for them. Now I'm thinking about bed lights, feeding power to a dash cam, non-RAM tpms power supply... Not a big deal. I'll probably be 6 months getting everything set up the way I want it.

The aux switch power is a harness in the engine bay. It would be a pain to power a dash cam with one of them. But the rest of your items, yes.

I think I miss-spoke. I'm talking about the row of pre-wired switches that I could have gotten on my dash. Maybe the right phrase is 'upfitter switches'? Once I get the truck I'll see about picking off power sources from the fuse box and sneaking them into the cab for my purposes.

If you are correct, and trucks were towed / pushed while in gear, there will be damage to tires as well - flat spots

We are talking about the same thing. Those switches are wired to a harness in the engine bay, really close to the firewall.

The thread was started about me trying to cancel something I ordered, I think I'm in the right place..but thanks I'll look into that.
I understand and you are correct, but if you are unsuccessful and trying to figure out what to do with cameras you cant use, the camera thread is a better place to sort that out.

As to changing order, it depends on the change and the status of your order as well as the Regional Sales Rep - some have been successful, others not. I tried to add Tow Mode Camera pkg (incl Digital Rear View Mirror) about a week after placing order but it took another week to confirm it had been approved.

Best, Ed.
