Huge Price Increase

Finally ready to order. Have been contemplating which options to get for quite some time as well as waiting for some of them to become available again like the night edition and 360 camera. Got pricing today for a 2500, CC, 6.4 bed, 4X4. The base price has increased from $54,745 to $57,520! o_O WTF? I figured a few hundred here and there for certain options but almost $3 grand on the base price? Either just happened or they made a mistake which is pretty hard to do as it's computer generated. Says DJ7P91 for the model which seems correct to me. Not a happy camper right now.
I needed pallet forks for my tractor and everyone was out of stock, uncertain on delivery times. Used forks were selling for more than new ones. I found a set at a local equipment supply company, they would have gone for $680 in normal times… I paid $975, didn’t haggle and was thankful when they offered to deliver them.

Lol 3k is not bad for me to get a new truck same options as my 19 is 17k more

I ordered in August and just put together the same build and the increase is $830

Ordered jan 5th , the web sight shows a few hundred less then my order.. my actual order came in 1500$ cheaper then the first quote sheet they gave me with the same equipment..
Also I'm trading in a 21 , I built the exact same truck (laramie) . It's 1200 more then the 21 was.. there giving me 2k more on the trade in..I'm comparing msrp and ep price.. buying from a dealer lot is a completely different story..

I've got 3 build sheets in front of me from 3 different dealers, 1 local and 2 from the list of discount dealers that guys use. Not one of them has the same base price that is listed on the Ram Build and Price site. All are significantly higher. Some options are higher as well over the website pricing. For a 2022 RAM 2500 LARAMIE CREW CAB 4X4 6'4" BOX, the website is showing $54,745.

Some confusion though. Both online quotes from mid last week show a base of $57,520. Got a local quote Friday morning and it shows $56,110. The Sales Code is exactly the same so WTH is going on? I sat there while the local did everything from their computer, watched the log in to the build site so it should be up to date pricing. I'm at a loss unless there are some shenanigans going on with the big % under invoice dealers using a higher base to allow for that? What am I missing?

I wouldn't look to deep. I'm just looking at the difference on MSRP on the Ram website and the bottom line of the order form. If the build is the same just buy from whoever is lowest. Who cares how they get to the price. If you wait you will probably get caught in another price increase and lose the prices they are quoting.

Can't order right now anyway as there is no blind spot monitor available which I want.

Understand what you are saying. That is a good point to always look at the bottom line and not the discount number they say they are giving. My local with 1% under using affiliates is a little more expensive but when you factor in the drive, fuel, and other items, may just be worth it to buy local even if a little bit more.

$2400 difference between the 2 on a 80k truck. Thats plenty for gas and a mini vacation. I'll take the vacation instead of the dealer.

It's not that much when their pricing doesn't match for the exact same truck. That's the whole point of what I was saying. No idea how that can be but it is.

Dunno. My quotes were 77,134 at MD and 77,743 at dan cummins. 1% between them as advertised on the exact same truck. $58360 was the base price. Then the baseprice jumped to $59120 on dec 16th. This is in a laramie.
