I live in Washington and currently looking to order a Ram 2500 Tradesmen. My 2006 Ford Explorer is crapping out on me and it's time to get a big boy truck to haul a camper and explore the outdoors.

Looking at the following:

2022 RAM 2500 TRADESMAN® CREW CAB 4X4 6'4" BOX

Patriot Blue Pearl-Coat Exterior Paint
6.4L V8 Heavy Duty HEMI
3.73 Axle Ratio
Chrome Appearance Grouphttps://www.ramtrucks.com/bmo.ram_2500.2022.html#
Convenience Group
Off-Road Package
Snow Chief Group
Tradesman Level 2 Equipment Group
Uconnect® 5 Nav with 8.4-Inch Touch Screen Display
Trailer brake

^^^ This.

4.10's vs 3.73's is subjective. I ordered mine with the shorter set and am A-ok with it. If I need more truck to pull more camper that isn't the deal breaker....the fuel tank is.

If you plan on dumping the little tires and going with 35's, you'll want the 4.10 gears. Maybe even add the power wagon package to it if going off road.

Good luck.

I have been watching a ton videos talking about the 4.10 vs 3.73. In the end i have talked myself out of the 4.10 as most the time I will be using the truck as a daily driver vs hauling things. If it was switched definitely would go 4.10, but I will only be towing a couple times a year.

I got the quote and I'm super happy with the price. The hard pill to swallow is 16+ weeks to delivery. But if I want what I want got to bit the bullet.

I never tow and mine is 100% daily driver. No way i would want 3.73’s. I do have 35’s tho. You owe it to yourself to test drive both empty on some rolling terrain at highway speed. Living in Montana i would have gone 4.30’s if that was an option.
