2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Soooooo, just got off the phone with Marsh the finance manager at Mark Dodge. Earlier it was Aaron and of course the stellar Renae from internet sales.
Great experience so far with Mark Dodge. It’s getting real now guys. I’m really thinking I’ll have a new loaded to the gills 4x4 Limited HO Cummins in my driveway in about 3 more weeks.
Marsh called me a minute ago and gave me bad news. The numbers he crunched were based on the 1500 so it doesn’t make sense for me to lease.
This probably worked out in your favor. This most likely will start a war but leases are almost always a bad deal. Especially if you're thinking in terms of payment instead of sale price, Money factor, residual at lease end, etc.

In this market and the discount you're getting through MD, you could probably put 10k miles on the truck and still turn around and sell for what you paid for it.

Guy trust me get the longhorn or limited with all those items.. I have a laramie on order that is a joke it hasn't moved in 4 months. Worst decision ever getting that trim level, the leather in the higher trim levels is well worth the money.

My Laramie ordered 9/2… built 11/23… with Tow Tech B, BSM, level B, night edition, 5th wheel prep and bed liner … which are some of the options that were supposed to be hold ups… arrived at the dealership 12/24…

Well must be an issue will allotted trucks to dealerships and they don't want to say that if that's the case..

Yeah if it was the original deal a lease would have been the way to go. But the money factor for financing although more I own the equity in the end and I pay less/month. But instead of putting a little more than $200 now I get to put another 8k down.

How are you tracking the progress of the truck you have ordered? I got my Vin today and was trying to see if there was any information I could see

If you just got your VIN today, I wouldn’t worry about checking any status for at least 8-10 weeks! I know it’s hard, and you build it up inside your head that “maybe not me, maybe I’m special or lucky, or especially lucky” and you will magically get a built status after 4 weeks. I did same thing. Best thing is just forget you ordered the truck. Spend precious energy on pondering other things. In 8-10 weeks, email/call your salesman and he should be able to get you an update (more than likely he won’t know anything and will tell you to reach back out in a couple more weeks). You can also check RamChat but I wouldn’t advise it until your dealer gives you a possible build date. This will save you tons of heartache! God speed to you!!

@OfficerDirtySanchez

Figured i would give an update to add more details to the spreadsheet for those still waiting

Color me green

ordered 9/24

off rail on 12/15 to 12/25

at Mark Dodge 1/4 and all paper work and financing completed by the morning of 1/5
Not sure how much holidays slowed it down, but got there faster than i expected.

I was nervous about the process, but Mark Dodge has everything setup for an easy process. When it arrives you will get a detailed email of what to do and there financing is very competitive.

Appreciate the site leading me to order for Mark Dodge, will do again as very easy process and no haggle pricing.

Go to this site https://cryptostickers.net and fill out the info. They will email you as soon as your build sheet is ready and then again when the window sticker is available

Agreed…. Well worth it… even with the flying out and 975 mile drive home…

Hey all, I am looking to order a new 2022 2500 with the Cummins to replace my 2019 2500 Hemi. I went to a dealership today and was surprised that the side-mirrors didn't have the electric fold capabilities like my current truck. Is this something you can option for the Big Horn on the 2022 models? If so, which package is this a part of? I need my folding mirrors!

It was something they got rid of as part of some package likely due to parts shortages. I know when I specd mine out online then went to order it thy said that it was no longer available. I think it is on the higher level trims though. But don't quote me.

Well darn. I guess I can spec things a bit differently and move up to the Laramie trim. Does anyone have a clue if it's included with Laramies?
