I would talk to one of the insiders here and get a screen shot from the FCA computer. Give them your vin and they can look it up. It will at least give you the actual MSRP and INVOICE price of the truck. It will not show you EP or FFP but you can figure those out roughly by looking at other people’s POCs and calculating the percentages off yourself. Walk in armed with information. Do not tell them you know the info, nor should you tell them where you got it. I’d just let them offer you their “deal” and then you can ascertain wether or not it is a fair deal for you. If it isn’t good, or it seems shady, walk away and go elsewhere. There are a ton of dealers willing to work with you, even if you have to drive a little ways. I don’t like the lack of communication on their part, that doesn’t look good, nor does it add confidence.

I was just told by RAM Chat that the Saltillo Plant was closed until Feb 10 for "retooling". That's confusing since I was told a couple of weeks ago that my estimated ship date was 1/6.

Can anyone get a screenshot of my order status? VIN is 3C6UR5DJ7NG216218.

First thing I did was remove that Alexa app.

I work close with AWS and Amazon for my job. All this is neat and shiny, but remember that AWS has had major outages over the past 6 weeks... 3 of them in fact. I am fine with the integration and partnership, but will be very concerned if it comes down to AWS as a mission critical / autonomous technology partner. Speaking of big brother.... Alexa collects no more information than your cell phone (and its apps) currently do. Just sayin....

Someone a couple of pages ago said that it was a van plant that was retooling. Brv10 even said a day or so ago that the Ram plant was only closed until today. Hopefully someone else has more info to clarify this. I have an estimated build date of 1/26 so I’m hoping this isn’t true too.

Ah, that’s interesting and doesn’t seem so bad. I was worried I was going to wake my neighbor every morning when reversing out of my driveway. Given that I’m used to a short bed and switching to a long bed, maybe I’ll leave it on for a bit while I’m getting used to the new length. Anyways, Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

It looks like there is some confusion between a backup ALARM which is the annoying beeping when you are in reverse like a construction vehicle and the backup SENSORS that beep when it senses an object when you are backing up. The backup sensors can be turned off easily, I wasn’t aware you could turn off the back up alarm.

Not Great nees in my mind. I did not enable Alexa. Alexa is always listening and too much Alexa and tracking info is just another data source to be compiled and sold. Big Brother is watching.

A lot of the new TV's has that too. I don't use it either because of privacy concerns. The young people are clueless about that, hence the reason they spill everything about themselves on Facebook and other social media to be exploited for advertisement dollars.

I sadly am in the younger generation. I understand the information age which is why I do not have Facebook. I can say with what I have seen and used over my short young years if anyone wants to know about you it's too easy even if you don't use Alexa or other devices.

Yes! Low, bass sounding thumping that sounds like a medium-soft thump from a rubber mallet on the floor of the truck that is not consistent with engine RPM or wheel revolutions. After about 5 minutes, that sound turns into long low groans like a whale (but lower tone). I might get several of these groans intermittently lasting 25-45 seconds each that again aren’t tied to other vehicle rhythms. They can be loud, taking over sound in the cabin and causing several passengers to comment “…is that normal?” Then goes away after 10-20 minutes of operation.

I can also only replicate it if the truck has been sitting overnight.

Sound familiar? What do I do?

Definitely sounds like an issue with the ANC. Maybe a mic isn't working right. Rolling down the windows turns off the ANC, so that is why it stops with a window down. I would have the dealer look at it.

The truck plant is closed through today, the Van plant through the 10th

feel your pain there. I have a grand design 5th wheel that I have not been able to use since Aug due to a wreck and waiting on my order. Really depends on what you get on the truck.

It is a very horrible system that ram really should work on.. I do not work in the type of field but I can tell you I'd switch over and build a heck of a great information infrastructure so no one else would ever have to deal with wondering who, what, when, where.
