Ramp for getting your dogs in the back?

This is a slightly different question than what the "how do you transport your dogs" thread may cover so I thought I would make a new thread. When I was a kid, I remember our dog just jumping up into the back of my dad's truck but these trucks are so high, that is a big jump for even a large dog. Do you have any ramp or step recommendation that works well to get them up in the bed and doesn't take up a lot of room when stored?

When I had my 4th gen I carried around a set of folding steps from PetLoader. At the time our boy Tank was pushing 120 and needed help up into the backseat. It takes up a ton of room but was stable and he used it with confidence.

With the current truck, I only lifted it 3" and our boys are only 3 and 4, so they have no problem jumping up into the backseat. But once they get older I'll pull out the steps and give up the space once again.
 
I use this for my two old dogs. Just hold it when they are walking up, but the thing folds up very nicely. It doesn't fit too well when using in between the rear door of CC, but I haven't seen anything that would. Still usable though.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. One thing I was concerned about was that most of the steps and ramps I saw online say they are for a 30 inch tailgate height where the height of these trucks is around 40", I believe. I guess it must not be too steep then if it works for you guys.
 
WeatherTech makes a great ramp. It's a bit pricey compared to other stuff on Amazon maybe, but it seems to be made well, and it has grippy feet at the top and bottom. Our 70lb dog used it a bunch last year before we had to put her down. About $100. The height worked just fine for a 2012 extended cab 3500, where we would place it on the passenger door threshold, and it stayed put. I'm not sure if we used it for the tailgate, but I think it would work fine. Specs say it's 67 inches long unfolded.

we use this telescoping ramp to load our dogs in the back door. Cheap, light and compact but prolly not long enough to use on the tailgate.
