So just ordered a set of Falken Rubitrek tires for my Power Wagon. Been doing a lot of research on 35" tires and decided on these.

I didn't see many reviews on these tires so I will be the guinea pig and try them out. I heard a lot of guys liked the wildpeaks and this has a very similar tread pattern. The side walls are not as aggressive as the wildpeaks. A few guys are raving that these did much better than their K02s which was one of the tires I almost decided on. Plus the 55,000 mile warranty isn't bad. Got a great deal on 4 installed for $1051 out the door. Tires are scheduled to be installed 1/7. Once installed I will post a few pictures, and review after I get a good amount of miles on them.

that is a good price. Just a little small for a power wagon :). those will be like a true 33" tire when on the truck. I have had the AT3W and really liked them.

315/70-17 are equivalent to 35x12.50x17. Your Toyo RTs are 34.8 and the Falkens measure 34.6. That is pretty darn close.

I want a little lift and to fill in the wheel wells. Will take true measurements before and after for comparison to the factory Duratracs.

BFG's are close to 35. But once I got mine on and set at 45/40 PSI and the weight of the truck on them, they are closer to 33".

Once you get them mounted, you will need to measure the actual circumference so you can adjust your speedo. I did it by marking the tire and ground, then rolling the truck 1 revolution and making the new mark, then measuring between them. When calculated out from circumference to dia, I came up with 33". ;)

Hey, as long as the tires are bigger I am happy! Didn't want to go to a 37" since I will tow a 8k travel trailer a few months out of the year. Already pulled it, and definitely did a better job than my 2020 Rebel.

What are you using to adjust the speedo, and TPMS? I am waiting for the ProCal SNAP to be back in stock, unless you have another suggestion?

the Falkens run a bit smaller than toyos (I have had them both) and even the Toyos in 35's are too small for Power wagons. mine on the truck are 33.5". duratracs are 31.6" and that is what Ram actually has them programmed into the computer at. I have the AEV snap and it actually shows you the numbers that Ram inputed for tire size.

Yeah the Duratracs look so tiny. I understand when the tire is loaded we see a deference. I just wanted bigger tires without any rub, hope to achieve that with these tires.

you will not get any rub. I don't and the 35" spare fits as well. I do regret not going 37's tho. Every time I park next a PW that has 37's I have remorse :)..

I love the look of the 37s, but I keep going back to the 35s. Mainly cause of the spare tire fitment, and I heard that it isn't the best tire for towing (allegedly). I know a lot of people don't buy the Power Wagon for towing, but I did. I bought it mainly cause its a Power Wagon and it looks cool. That is always #1 before functionality ;). The most off-roading this truck will see will be going out into the corn field to load up a deer!

AEV will shoot me an email or phone call when the ProCal SNAP is back in stock. Should be Jan/Feb for availability.

Got the tires installed a little earlier than expected. Was not a good experience. Hopped in the truck and as I drove through the lot I heard a noise. Something was just touching somewhere. This was in a straight line, so checked around the tire and wheel well, absolutely no rubbing. Went back and had the service advisor come out and listen as I drove around. Found out that the wheel weight was just grazing the caliper. So they had to rebalance all four wheels. Still couldn't balance them 100% since they do not stock low pro weights. So I have a call into my local Ram dealer to get them balanced properly. First impressions on the Rubitreks, very positive. Quiet tire, and aggressive deep tread (compared to Duratracs). Measured the tire before and after. These tires are about 1 1/4" taller than the stock tires, and overall gave me a 1" lift (measured from ground to the middle of the front wheel well. Can definitely tell the deference when getting in the truck and the bed. After I get them balanced properly and do some highway driving I will updated again as well as some pictures. The icing on the cake was getting $800 for my old tires, so I do not have much invested at this time.

I use balance beads. Tires are always balanced. No need for outside stick on weights to cause issues.

This is the second post that I've seen where someone got money back for their old tires. Did you sell them privately? Or, is there a tire shop that gives you money for take offs?

I did some research after reading your experience in another thread. Are there tire shops that offer this? Or, do you bring your own when mounting new tires? If the latter, what brand do you recommend?

Sold privately on FB marketplace. Sold them in a couple hours, makes me wonder if I could have got more for them.

All manufacturers measure their tire diameter with no load. No one should expect their tires to measure anywhere close to the advertised diameter once on the truck.
Correct the true size is the loaded diameter. But I am not going around saying my tires are 33.3", I will always refer to them as 35s :D
