2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

It’s not all doom and gloom - lots of great pictures of folks taking delivery of their beautiful trucks and I’m happy to see it.

It’s just that there are a good chunk of us folks with really old orders and it would be really nice to see RAM do some troubleshooting on their most patient customers behalf.
I think that is “IT” in a nutshell. Even as someone who’s order is not all that old, my frustration is due to not getting any real help from customer service.

with all that being said. I'm still a RAM fan for life at this point. I have owned many Ram Trucks and use to work on Fords (enough said there). I just wish they were able to give better updates on where the truck is once it's been built etc. I mean UPS doesn't have that issue. just saying.

Ordered Aug 23. Build sheet Dec 21, but still no window sticker. Saying it's at the vendor. Must be a hold up or something. Only thing I can think of is bedliner or 5th wheel prep. If anyone wise might know what the hold up is please let me k ow. Thank you in advance.

Only 237 trucks out of the 800ish on the tracking sheet have been delivered. When you start sorting things by Model, Cab, Engine, and Trim levels....you start to see how unique some of these builds are which explains why some may take a lot longer to fill than others. Frustrating I know, but that's part of the custom order process.

As an example, there are only (13) 2500 Mega Cabs with the 6.4 Hemi in the tracking list. Of those, (7) are Laramie's, (5) are Limited, and (1) is a Limited Longhorn.

I ordered my 3500 Big Horn options c package on 11/9 received von on 1/15 Vin on 11/23 on Train on 12/4 original eta 12/30 -1/4 on 12/14 told eta changed to 12/30 - 1/4 not holding breath that it will show up on time but train drop off is Orlando FL Dealer in Orlando FL not 10 miles away. I have read of comments totally understand frustration. Ram should do better job of communicating what parts are limited quantity that would lengthen build time. I would of not been told anything except I called salesman every week and called chat once month.

I’m one of those Limited MC Hemi orders! Ordered on June 21 and truck was built on 12/15, waiting on delivery.

Mine is a Tradesman CC diesel. Ordered on 10/2. Salesman told me today that it is still on the train in Nebraska headed for Salt Lake City. Said we might see it middle of January. Must be a slow train.

Nice that's what I ordered. Big Horn 3500 level B on Aug 23 so you are doing real good. Still waiting for mine to ship. Good luck.

I know for a fact what the poster stated is very true! The more units they can get on a load the better the pay. I was VP of a company called Millennium Auto Transport as well as having several hundred automobile transport companies who hauled autos for General Motors. And yes, I agree, it's a contract issue however, like all other contracts until the issue is forced the larger units such as our HD Trucks (Especially the 3500 DRW) will continue to set until nothing else is available to fill a load. I just literally got off the phone with my dealer and he states he cannot talk with the transport company directly, but has to contact his factory rep regarding when the unit will be transported to his dealership. What this tells me is, even though the unit is delivered to the rail yard the factory still has control of when you will actually receive your truck. It's another waiting game for sure.......... It will happen when it happens........
That was one of the cool things about Kernersville CDJ they have there own transportation from the rail yard to the dealership. As soon as it comes off the train car they go get it.

Bet we are on the same train. My dealer called last week and said mine was in Nebraska headed to SLC, then on to Idaho. Also received the "customer care" email today ----->
I am following up as Jeff is out of the office. Thank-You for allowing me time to review your vehicle order. Your vehicle is shipping and the current ETA to arrive at the dealer is 12/30/2021 - 01/11/2022
Aimee

Quick update - dealer called while I was typing and said the truck is in Wyoming headed to SLC (Roper UT)

I'm looking at blue ovals now.
Blasphemy! No blue ovals! Maybe a bow tie before a blue oval.
Just wait for your truck.
It sucks that they’re putting you through the hell but when your new truck that you ordered your way shows up you will be that much happier.
I guess that’s easier for me to say as I haven’t waited 8 months but since you’re one of our brothers I wouldn’t want you suffering with a blue oval waiting on the side of the road for a Ram to pick you up. But I hear you and feel your pain. Sorry brother.

Placed my order finally with Renae at MD. She said I should have a VIN as early as tomorrow. Quoted me 18-20 weeks delivery. I’m in no hurry, but definitely excited. Almost identical to my wife’s, except CC vs her MC.

It will go to the vendor for those items then usually back to the plant for QC, then the window sticker and shipping arrangements.
