It was marked $69.99 but rang up $49 FYII already have a ton of RIGID cordless tools and about 6 of the batteries. Definitely gonna pick one of these up now.

Just realized this was your video, not just linking to it. Nice work and good review, i may pick one up, price is decent!I posted this elsewhere in a thread but This little guy is better than you’d think for $49.
Thanks. I fully expected that thing to overheat and cut off and kill my entire battery (which came out of a tool, not off the charger) when you get over a 35” tire you really get out of small compressor territory. Even the ARB compressor that is vehicle 12v powered takes 3 minutes too air up a 33” from 10-30 psiJust realized this was your video, not just linking to it. I ordered one of these compressors today. Just happened to get an Amazon gift card from work for my birthdayThis is the arb high capacity single, mounted above the framerail. Tank is 2.5 gallons mounted above driveshaft. Overall very happy, it all works excellent.
I love my ARB twin. The single is very nice too. Especially if you are going to hard mount it. I am very surprised by my modded Smittybilt. It really flows the air.I ordered one of these compressors today. Just happened to get an Amazon gift card from work for my birthday
I agree, I run a arb twin in the PW and a single in the 4runner and they both do quite well. One thing I noticed is there is a lot of water build up in the lines under heavy use. I may put a water separator in-inline at some point (I should have done it when i first installed it)I love my ARB twin. The single is very nice too. Especially if you are going to hard mount it. I have too many compressors. I have convinced myself I don't need the Milwaukee compressor. I think....
I’m guessing that probably has to do with your environment being high humidity. I haven’t noticed it moisture build up, but I’m in dry ColoradoI agree, I run a arb twin in the PW and a single in the 4runner and they both do quite well. I have noticed moisture too. Unavoidable when compressing air. The inline water separator might be a good idea. Especially in systems with a tank that could rust or corrode. Right now I just drain the tank.I agree, I run a arb twin in the PW and a single in the 4runner and they both do quite well. I haven’t tackled this project yet, but the system I’m eyeing at the moment is this one. The tank is approx 6” diameter so it should tuck under the truck nicely, probably outboard of the frame under the cab. I will also mount the compressor under the truck or inside the topper, undecided yet. I will route an air line with quick connect on the rear and the front of the truck.
it claims filling a 37” with a full tank in 4 mins.

This kit went up $200 it is now around $600. That’s why I pulled the trigger on the ARB hi output single @$308. I’ll build my system around that.LOL.....I have that in my Amazon list too. Probably depend on whether I get the Decked system or not. If i get Decked I can store my portable in it.

The arb twin portable is a beast, I was running that for the longest time before I decided to go hard mount (I got tired of lifting in and out of the rigs, it took up a bit of cargo space, and was worried about theft). I did mod mine to allow for “universal connection” it makes hooking up quick and no need to pop the hood.Funny to see that. I did get the portable and it is in my decked system. LOL Although I am going to put my Sh*tybilt in the drawers for everyday carry and just pull out the ARB for trips where I will air down all the tires.

Thanks, yeah I swapped out the clips for a nocco set (a little better quality than the ones that arb included). The alligators are for redundancy or if someone needed to borrow the compressor. Another nice thing about having an anderson plug, is i also modded a jumper cable, so if i need to jump I just plug into mine and clip on to another vehicle. I used welding cable direct from battery to the plug, so it satisfies all my power needs.Yes, that thing is a beast to move around. I have probably used it more on other Jeeps than my own LOL. I thought about changing the connector out to something like you did. I would have to do it for both the Jeep and the truck. I like how you made an adaptor to still use the alligator clips.
I don't think you want tap the factory air setup. I've always been told the compressor won't hold up to that kind of use. I doubt it would have the duty cycle to air up one tire and absolutely not four.
It's not that, the factory system is sealed and is 100% nitrogen.I don't think you want tap the factory air setup. I've always been told the compressor won't hold up to that kind of use. I doubt it would have the duty cycle to air up one tire and absolutely not four.

I believe that is only true for the 1500s, but am not 100% sure. My 2500 was supposedly initially filled with nitrogen, then the compressor can make up small amounts of air as needed. It has an air intake open to the atmosphere between the cab and bed. I'm sure the 3500s are probably setup the same way. It's not that, the factory system is sealed and is 100% nitrogen.
