Good luck with the gooseneck install, just installed mine last week. It’s PITA to get to some of the bolts but it’s doable, make sure you have a few extensions and swivels. And if I were to do it again I’d save myself the headache and just remove the tailpipe all together.

Yeah j installed one on my 2017 and it was a pain by myself. A tow strap to hold it in place and second set of hands goes a long way lol

You and I talked before in this post, a local upholstery shop was the installer. I still find it weird even though you don’t have a local installer, I didn’t pay a penny to Katzkin, it all went through the installer. I’d call around where you live and see who installs leather and get quotes.

Love it, doing same thing with Baja Designs A-pillar kit with XL80 pro's. Do you have any photos of under hood or more detailed around after install or anything? Curious how it mounts exactly. Which lights did you go with?

Installed my fuel and def caps i had my my latest truck along with some all metal bed tiedowns. I had rhe tie downs on the last two trucks and love them

Those look nice. Did you cut the openings to get all 6 installed? Any issues cutting and fitting them?

Depends on the truck. My 2019 needed trimming on the front and rear pockets.

For the 2022:
The front didn't require any cutting and slid in.
The center didn't need cutting but needed a rubber mallet to give a gental nudge to fit (most likely due to my tonneau cover rails.
The rear required some minimal trimming since the plastic bed cap extends lower then the bed rail.

Either way the only trimming is on the inside of the bed cap and can be done with a resort blade. The shape of them is perfect so no trimming to the shape of the bed pockets. Only trimming is to shorten the depth or the bed cap so the tie down wings clamp the the metal bed rails and not just an inch of plastic bed cap if that makes sense. If you look into empty pockets of your truck you will see what I am talking about. If not I can get you some pics next week of what I had to trim.

The pic shows the shallow depth bed cap that required no trimming. If the plastic goes below the metal bed lip it just needs to be shortened as far as the depth.

Nice, I like the extra coverage it provides, I’ve got some small chips on the edge of mine already.
I think they fixed the “splash” issue on the 2019+ trucks, so at least we don’t have to worry about that.

It’s about the same material as the factory one, maybe a bit smoother if you look closely it does not match the bed rail plastics exactly. The factory tailgate cover is pretty poorly designed in regards to protection of lowering it onto trailer tounges or even just slinging things into the bed so the minor difference doesn’t bother me for the added level of protection.

I missed that detail, nice catch.

The tailgate cap looks nice. I have some paint wear on the top edge of my tailgate from my topper closing and touching the paint. I may need this part.

Can they not get the wrinkles out better than that?
i have a set of Katzkin covers for mine but I don't want to install them if they wrinkle like that.

They are covers, so with the original fabric underneath I think it would be pretty hard to do. I said the same thing to myself, but I’m going to create those same wrinkles just by using them, so I’m not going to sweat the small stuff.

I thought the OEM covers were taken off and replaced with the Katzkin covers. Guess it would be pretty hard to get a
perfect fit over the cloth covers.

Katzkin makes replacement covers, they do not slip over the OEM cloth seat covers, they replace them.

The wrinkles should disappear as they get used. But if you install these yourself, you can put them in the sun to heat them up before installing. This helps with the wrinkles.

I have installed these a few times. Takes me a solid two days to do it right.

Drove it up to a Holiday Cabin retreat at an amazing place “diamond falls preserve”. 175 acres in NC. River, lake, fishing, waterfall etc etc… gonna be a nice quiet week.

All outside on the day after Christmas. 71° today. Crazy stuff, but not complaining. As a former northeastern resident, I'll take this over snow any day

Finished up ARB CKMTA12 install that I started Christmas Eve Day with a few air fittings and test of system. Very impressed! No external tank, no lockers or manifold, just the ARB, a hose, and Jayco High Accuracy Gauge. Took rear tires from 73to 80 psi in a matter of seconds. Most difficult part of install was lower bolt on the bracket from NH Overland https://www.nhoverland.com/products/ram-compressor-mount?_pos=8&_sid=83f22a54d&_ss=r A high quality mount that fits perfectly. All buttoned up now.

Mounted and wired Baja Designs S8-10" Combo led light bar. 10" is not really designed for behind the grill, just above the air dam, as it comes with no mounting hardware for this application. Didn't really think about that when I ordered the light.
Surprised myself that I was able to quickly piece together hardware, nuts, and bolts to mount at local building supply house, and everything worked out perfectly! Rare is the day...
Very impressed with these and like the look of the amber backlighting run by itself.
Rear S2 sport reverse lights installed a month ago, but included the pic.
