When I ordered my dealer said I couldn't get the 50 gallon tank on the short bed? You did it seems. Maybe it's you can't on a short bed gasser, but no clue why that would be, underneath should have the same room unless the tranny for the gasser is weird.

Agree would be nice to have 50 gal tank in Short Bed - but 3C63R3RL translated to a 3500 SRW Limited CrewCab Longbed Diesel

Mine went from JB (Vendor add ons) to KZ (waiting on shipping assignment) in 1 day 12/17 - 12/18. And I had same as you added, bed liner, RamBox, and steps (power side steps and rear bed step). Hopefully yours will be quick too!

Does anybody know if there is a Mopar (Curt) 5th wheel hitch shortage? It appears that most if not all the trucks with build sheets but no Window sticker have this in common.
 
Has anybody that’s ordered from Mark Dodge planned on swapping tires out at the dealership? Just curious if they sell tires? I would imagine they’re cheaper online.

Love my Mega Cab, but I went with the Crew for the 50 gal tank. Between adding an aftermarket AND and small aux tanks, or just a larger aux tank it made the most sense financially.

But my two cents is each their own.

Cryptostickers shows I have a window sticker but can't access it. Shows it's FOUND. Does anyone have any ideas on how to open it??

According to sources mine was loaded on a rail car the same day it was driven off the assembly line. Therefore it is considered in transit status whether the train actually departed the factory same day or later. It will stay in transit status until it reaches the dealership. It's a whole new waiting period now..... If you can figure out the rail car it was loaded on (Ask the Members Politely and someone just may identify this information) then you can track it once it crosses the Border at Eagle Pass. Several Members have identified the means to track your shipment via rail on this Forum so go back to page 1000 and read forward. Jot down notes along the way. I quit taking notes once my truck reached the rail yard in my general delivery area. Unfortunantely have disposed of my notes so can't help you there. From one Military Member to another, wish I had saved them so I could help you. Sorry!

UPDATE! I see BRV10 just gave you an update that its still at the factory for QC.

Thanks I’ll head back to page 1000 and do some reading. I know the dealer doesn’t have much info to give at this point so I’ll use some resources I have.
 
Went to dmv and got all that handled today. Place was empty. Couldn’t smog it cause the system hasn’t cycled enough after the codes I cleared, was driving around to get some miles and time on it to clear and got into the throttle pretty hard at an intersection about 15-20 mph and the thing stalled out.

20 minutes later it did it again. All the same codes are back.

You might call them and ask - talk to Truck sales person and also to parts guy - you may get different answers - probably a no go - probably glad to sell you tires, maybe at a discount, but probably not interested in takeoffs unless used car guy can throw on a truck in inventory with bald tires.

As to Tire & Wheel deals, they may be able to refer you to local tire dealer - but again most tire dealers not terribly interested in takeoffs and will lowball if at all. Wheels maybe different in snow country but no one down here has a set of dedicated Winter wheels.

If Tires AND Limited Wheels (20 in), best option to dispose of takeoffs is probably CraigsList or Facebook Marketplace. eBay is another option, but shipping costs can kill eBay interest. 20 inch wheels should sell at a premium but Firestone OE not so much demand - sell as a package - dont separate.

If you only want different tires on stock wheels, get best deal you can on tires SOONEST - I am already in sticker shock - tires I am looking at have gone up about $75 ea so far this year and lots more tire price increases coming - some effective Jan 1, others already announced for Feb 1.

As to buying on line - I am finding not that much difference at least on Coopers on line vs local.

And unless you have access to tire mounting and balancing equipment, there are at least 2 advantages to buying locally -
(1) cost to mount/balance is typically higher if you dont buy tires from tire shop installing them - not always as I was quoted $75 to $160 at 4 local shops to mount and bal 4 online tires - the $75 was about the same, but the $160 was 2x what they would charge if selling tires.
(2) If you have balance problems, you can go back to seller and if its a tire problem they will be more likely to replace a problem tire with minimal hassle - and these are big, heavy tires which are frequently problems to balance - I had problems with Michelin Defender LTX MS on previous truck - tires bought at Sams and never got it sorted out - they were unable to get it right and alignment shop recommended by RAM dealer was also unable to balance after multiple attempts, finally just moved worse tires to rear and it was driveable. Should have had tires replaced, but truck totalled as I was working with Michelin.
