2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Order it now… took me 2 months for carli kit.. hold up was king shocks

Already have the Kings and 5x Toyo MT's sitting at Baja North in Kamloops for the truck

Slowly ordering the rest of the kit now depending on lead times for each item, radius arms, and the sway bar is next month.

thats not exactly true, the small dealers can only order so many vehilces per month, say mark dodge can do 100 a month, a small dealer may only be able to do 5. So off those five orders for example, they need to make a bigger profit to stay in business
You're conflating customer orders and dealer inventory units. Customer orders do NOT take away from their allocated units.

I talked to my salesman about that and from what he told me that’s how it used to be, however that was changed recently. I guess now they all get grouped together?

Idk how dealers get allocations but I’m at week 13 no movement at all yet an dealer has gotten 4 trucks inventory and a few sold orders before and after my my order date. Sick of how random it all is

Trust Me! FCA, RAM, The Assembly Plant and everyone in the chain has their act together. Yes, they're probably a few slackers in the system as all companies have a few of these, but bad mouthing the folks who are responsible for getting your truck built, shipped and delivered to the dealership isn't going to help with your case. People from RAM, FCA as well as the Assemble Plant in Mexico (and guess what, they too can read and understand English probably better than most on this site can speak/read Spanish) are aware this Forum exists and read it daily..... I just wouldn't want to be on Santa's naughty list if you get my drift..... LOL

If you are truly interested in tracking your vehicle, read this Forum from the beginning. All the answers and players involved have been mentioned and you do not need FCA or Ram to answer your questions. Take some personal interests in researching yourself with the questions you ask. Be Kind to those involved! I'm not going to mention names because I don't want these Members to get inundated with questions as it's not their job to track your order. I can tell you several Members have went out of their way to help me track my vehicle by providing me a Rail Car Number, Rail Company, Rail Yard destination that services my dealership and when my truck was actually driven off the Rail Car.

I wish everyone, especially those with orders from back in May/June time frame get their trucks soon! May all the folks on this Forum have a Blessed and Merry Christmas and a Joyful New Year! And for the folks in Mexico who build these trucks so us Americans can be happy! Feliz Navidad
You make some fair points, but you’re kinda making my point for me….

I know the process of building these trucks is complicated and there are lots of moving parts. The point of my post is this: if I buy a $7 pack of socks online I get an email telling me a label has been created and a tracking number that lets me see it until it arrives at my door. But you order an $85k truck from a multi billion dollar company like FCA and their Customer Care can’t give you a straight answer about where the product is. Instead we are relying on like minded folks to gather the information on their own time. I’m grateful for all the effort that those on this forum have put into helping their fellow members. I am just saying that any company that wants to put the customer first should be able to be a little more transparent and be able to give the customer information more readily.

Carli is the best suspension system for the Ram bar none. Thuren is good too.

My last 2500 was fully Thuren equipped with every option. Going Carli this time around with the Factory Air on a 3500 Limited MC. I doubt I'll be disappointed.

Here's my last baby! Though I wish I had the 3.0's like I did on this one, they only want to give me 2.5's for the factory air suspension. I trust Carli though.

Technically the DEALER is ordering the truck, not you. That we can even contact ram chat is somewhat a blessing. I do believe they should bring back VOTS so we can track the order, but the dealer is supposed to be who you get your info from.

True, but they are relying on the same stream of information. Dealer tells me the same thing, “truck is in shipping no ETA provided.”

I think it’s funny that they give you an ETA to dealer when a truck is in D1 waiting to be built, but once it’s completed no ETA. LOL! I know everything is estimated, just a little bewildering!

Ok, thanks folks for the heads up!

Mark Dodge (MD) for the win!!!

Got a no haggle quote today... Drum roll....
11.6% under MSRP...
My local dealership was only offering 1% off MSRP and I felt like I had to do a couple push ups for that.

Order placed in the AM... And the waiting begins...
What did you order and what is the wait time you are being told

7F64E8F0-7E22-44E6-84D0-C1D9742AE50A.jpegWell guys, got a call this morning from my salesman that said my truck was picked up last night in Baltimore at 11:31 and that they were hoping to see it either the end of this week or first of next. Ive gotten to the point that I dont get too excited about updates( Ordered 5/28). One of those deals where I’ll believe it when I see it. Well I was about 3 hours from home late this afternoon when my salesman called me back and said “you’ll never guess what I just saw……your truck just pulled on the lot!” Well that was definitely the best news of the whole ride. Salesmen sent me a couple quick pics. Hoping to get up there tomorrow and take a look at it, they said they want to run through any recalls and get it cleaned up which make take a day or so. I’ll post more pics when I see it in person!!

You make an excellent point. They have a 17 character identity that could also be used as a tracking order. It seems like it should be real easy for Ram to have live info on the current status of all these vehicles and provide that info to anyone with a code or log in info and that should definitely include us buyers! I order a coffee mug and and can track where it is but a nearly $80k truck, nope. Nothing but conflicting info/little or no info/ generic responses. If I want good Intel, I gotta ask some stranger named Bvr10 and I feel like I should Venmo him $5 every time I ask.

Great picture. Where was this photo taken? Nice ride.

So it seems like a bunch of us agree on trying to do something for BRV10. So instead of talk about it let’s do it. I’m down for $30 or more. If we get another 10 or more folks that’s a significant chunk of change. So tell me how to Venmo or whatever and I’ll do it!
Talk is cheap. Action speaks louder than words. This dude is still here just helping out and asks nothing in return.
I know how! Ha! I have the scoop! Thankfully a friend here showed me the way.
Guys, PM me and I’ll give you the scoop! I got it handled!

So y’all can pm me and I’ll get you the info. I can tell you without even knowing the guy he’s not going to give you a chance. Perfect timing too with Christmas.

Looking for honest opinion here. I currently have an order in and probably showing up in a few weeks. It’s just a tradesman CC 6.7 with some modest options. MSRP on the sticker is $62,015. I agreed to $60,000 before I knew about MD and ever seen this forum. Do you think I’m over paying for that truck ?
