2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Pictures as promised. Things ive noticed so far, the digital rear view camera isn’t easy to look at while driving down the road. My eyes have to change focus to see it. No problems in mirror mode but the camera mode takes a second to focus on. 2022 Laramie interior is far superior to the 2018 Laramie I traded in. It’s all black, instead of a mix of Black and Tan. Wireless charging DOES work with an IPhone in an Otter Box (I think someone was asking about that a few dozen pages ago). I’m not sure when the remote tailgate release will be handy, but it’s fun to trigger when showing off to friends. :) The running boards on this truck are really great. Way better than the running boards on my 2018. The full power mirrors are extra nice also. It’s great not needing to manually adjust the little mirror. I’m getting 4 flush mount lights put in the rear bumper the week after Christmas. 2 wired in with reverse lights, and 2 on an aux switch for working on trailers and such. Also getting a light bar between the tow hooks at the same time. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I can make time to get the trailer cameras installed on my 7x16 enclosed tool trailer. That might be the feature I’m looking forward to using the most. One thing im not happy with is the 3 honks when I leave the truck while it’s running. Also, one of the key fobs got lost in transit, so the dealer is ordering me another. The key part of the fob was there but the fob part was gone. Weird. Do you know what light bar you are going with?

Something I noticed on my build sheet today and found it on a couple of other build sheets was it said D1 to D regress. Mine went from D to D1 to D then back to D1. Not sure why that is on the build sheet, but maybe some of the members know?

I wish I’d see any movement so far 9/20 order not one movement no answers

Nice truck, ordered the Hemi as well 7/21/21. how does the front rake feel? does it feel like it needs a leveling kit?

has anyone else had an issue with intermittent three chimes with now issues/problems popping up on the dash? I know this is a topic for another thread so I started one at the link below. Figured I would at least ask the new owners if this has been seen by anyone else. Thanks.

I’m

No…. Limited and longhorn stock units vins past 180 all over the place. December orders are now going D1 with 1/10 deliveries.. considering ordering a duplicate truck. I understand they have to ship units to dealers.. I am glad members are getting trucks.. many limiteds longhorns getting built. The only thing that makes sense to me is they have to distribute certain numbers to all dealers and zones and maybe that’s why they build out of sequence. Equipment does not seem to be the issue as same equipped vehicles are not built as far back as July and August… who knows…
do not count that all new builds from dec are being built for January shipping. I ordered Nov 14th 3 weeks later Dec 9th they opened night edition and tow tech group. I really wanted surround view camera system ony dually. Nov order was d status and dealer couldn't add to that build they had to orderw a whole new loaded laramie 3500 drw and both trucks are still in d status. gathering parts to be sequenced for build is all I ever got when I checked ram chat. hoping it's built before fed raises interest rates.

Honestly, I have no idea. I am not planning to put a lift or leveling kit on. Haven’t ever driven a truck that was leveled so I wouldn’t notice the difference.

With Granite color on Bighorn what color is the headliner?
It will depend on what the color of the interior is.
Black and black/ diesel grey you get a black headliner and pillar trim.
Black/light frost and black/lt. mountain brown comes with light frost headliner and pillar trim.

I had to do a ton of research for my exterior lighting on my truck. I know what I got is expensive but after a bunch of mistakes I hit the nail on the head.
Go with Rigid Industries. If not Baja Designs make good stuff.
I went with Baja Designs. Check out the lighting kits on https://www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/lighting
I got the 20" bar, 2 that mount into and wire up to the fogs and 2 for the rear. Went under bumper mount but you can do flush too. I just didn't want to cut into my fancy painted bumper.

That would be great, diesel gray seats and crystal exterior hoping for not tan…

Black Oak out of Florida is good too.
