My 3500 took 10 weeks incl the 1 week Sept shutdown and 10+ days waiting for TTMPS sensors and a railroad delay - you could look at whats being built on the spreadsheet by tracking Equipment List dates, but I have not noticed 2500's being faster than 3500s in general.Can folks comment on their order to delivery timeline for a limited 3500 Cummins?
Dealer is saying 3500s are significantly further out than 2500s, likely 6 months.
Yep. That’s my plan too. I’ve already got the plans for a 30’x45’ garage/shop and I’ll build a carport off the side when my dream 5th wheel come true.Oh yeah, you're not getting rid of me that easy. I need to stick around and make sure all the old timers on this thread get their trucks.
I did a rough measure based on published specs and it should fit, but I'll measure again once it's in the driveway. I need to clear out that garage stall anyway, just full of junk and a few treasures that need new homes.
Building a garage for yours should be right in your line given your screen name.
My dream after I retire is to buy property big enough to build a nice building for a shop, and maybe long enough to park not only my truck, but my still a dream 5th wheel in, with overhead doors on both ends, just pull though.
My Filipina wife will NOT be driving my truck when it gets in, I don’t care how drunk or tired we are on the road she’s forbidden lol. when she asks why, I remind her of all the parking lot battle wounds her touareg has and then challenge her to find one on ANY of my vehicles.Dude, that is the funniest post in this thread. I could quote you verbatim.
My wife is the same! My wife is an import from the Philippines and I would love to see all 5’2” of her drive my existing Cummins. As scared as I will be. She WON’T be driving the new one even if she wants to. I’d have a heart attack.
OK - you got me curious - from an old review (May-Nov orders) HD Truck Orders compiled in the Tracking SheetCan folks comment on their order to delivery timeline for a limited 3500 Cummins?

Doesn't seem to be true. My Limited 3500 was ordered 9-14-21 and went to KZ a few days ago. It still hasn't been shipped yet. Today the status code for the truck is KZLD.Can folks comment on their order to delivery timeline for a limited 3500 Cummins?

One data point here 8/23 order for a limited mega cab DRW. Just got my equipment list today and I’m guessing it’ll be another 4+ weeks before it shows up to mark dodge.OK - you got me curious - from an old review (May-Nov orders) HD Truck Orders compiled in the Tracking Sheet
50% 2500:
32% 3500 SRW:
17% 3500 DRW:
1% Other (Chassis Cabs, 4500, etc)
Eq Lists showing up since Dec 1 (actual count, not %)
2500 = 53;
3500 SRW = 24;
3500 DRW = 9
So yes, at least so far in Dec only 3.3 3500's are being built for every 5.3 2500's, but I seem to recall earlier complaints that 2500's were behind compared to 3500's and of course a lot depends on trim as well as 2500 vs 3500.
But if you want a 3500, I would not let the 5:3 build ratio bother me - it is unlikely to be 6 months on either unless you are trying to order a 2023 - more likely a bit less than 3 months for either one today (and yes I know there are valid horror stories of May-June-July-August truck orders that seem to be lost in a black hole for no reason while later orders are being built).
Ugh, that sucks. I am sorry to hear that.One data point here 8/23 order for a limited mega cab DRW. Just got my equipment list today and I’m guessing it’ll be another 4+ weeks before it shows up to mark dodge.

Didn’t order from MD (I’m in South Texas), but mine has been built and waiting on a train for over a week now!Anyone else built and waiting on a train ride to MD? That was my status as of yesterday and curious if anyone knows when we will get loaded and leave. NG107207.
Love it!Finally got my truck back from the detailer. Had PPF applied on hood, finders and lower part of the doors and rear finders. Whole thing ceramic coated. Windows tinted at 35% and interior protected. I did find on the rear passenger door the screws to the latch mechanism were all loose with one sticking out. Something else to look out for. I did get a different answer about the Rear Wheelhouse Liners missing the center section and will give an update on the thread started for this topic. Now to spend the next three days packing the remainder of my belongings in a 24’ cargo trailer and head to the Midwest. Would like to say a heart felt thank you to @brv10, @OfficerDirtySanchez and everyone on this thread for helping get thru the whole process and providing information to keep us all in the know so we get what we deserve.
This resonates with me. My 10 year old 1500 with 120k miles is flawless. The wife's 4 year old pilot, not so much.My Filipina wife will NOT be driving my truck when it gets in, I don’t care how drunk or tired we are on the road she’s forbidden lol. when she asks why, I remind her of all the parking lot battle wounds her touareg has and then challenge her to find one on ANY of my vehicles.
I ordered on Oct 14, went to D-1 on Dec 1. Went to framing today. Mine is a limited 3500 MC dually max tow with the works on it. Ho Cummins motorCan folks comment on their order to delivery timeline for a limited 3500 Cummins?

That is now the funniest post. Your wife and mine have the same going for them. But my wife has an excuse for every battle wound her Highlander has. Including a post that jumped in front of her car.
