2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

How many days on average does it take to get the vin assigned, I have read a good amount of posts and it seems like anywhere from 3 days to a month?! Without regard to trim level of the truck. This will be my 5th ordered truck and I don't think I have ever waited longer than about 3 or 4 days for assignment. ('22 3500 Longhorn Mega SRW)

It is with sincere sympathy for those who have been waiting much longer than I have that I report what Ram Chat told me just now....

Thank you for waiting, I can see here your vehicle was delivered to your dealership today! I would suggest contacting your selling dealership.

@OfficerDirtySanchez mark me KZX as of today, but please hold off turning me green until I pick it up, thanks.

My salesdude is off on Tuesdays, so haven't heard from him yet, no matter, gonna take a day or two to coordinate schedules with the wife to go pick it up anyway.
I was thinking that you’ll be getting your truck. Yesterday, as I saw a Ferromex train with a boatload of car carriers driving South past Castle Rock was thinking Griz is getting his truck. Forgot to write you.
Congratulations! Can’t wait to hear from you after you get it.

Yup! Dealer sent me a couple pics Tuesday. Working out a few final details over email before I pick it up. He was off today I think, and no way I was gonna pick it up in the wind we had today anyway. Need to get a garage stall cleared out for it soon.

Haha, my wife jokes around about driving my 2500 around, but never takes me up on driving it when her Pacifica needs to go in the shop and she has to drive the Cooper around with the kids.

She always told me she would never let me get a dually because they were “stupid looking”, then she wanted a 5er with a 3400 lbs pin weight and I had to break the news to her that I get what I want.
Dude, that is the funniest post in this thread. I could quote you verbatim.
My wife is the same! My wife is an import from the Philippines and I would love to see all 5’2” of her drive my existing Cummins. As scared as I will be. She WON’T be driving the new one even if she wants to. I’d have a heart attack.

Man I’m jealous. Make sure you post after you get it. Please. After driving your ‘01 going to a ‘22! Also you may want to measure you garage opening and depth first. My truck won’t fit in my garage! I’m gonna build one for mine!

I ordered on a saturday and had a vin on monday morning.

Hey thanks for the quick response! Yeah, I’m not in a hurry to get mine. We’re working on doing a cross country trip with the 5er after my retirement, just trying to whittle things down before we have to move off base, like the boat we haven’t used much since moving from Key West.

Fully loaded Longhorn dually should take awhile to build, but seeing all of you take delivery…I can’t wait!

When did you order?
By the way, Thanks for your service.

So not having the best experience with MD. They set me up with a guy named Corey to build and price out truck and he has been ghosting me saying there isn’t anyone available to do a build on the truck. After 5 days trying to work with him I’m looking for a new person. I’m going to call the dealership and try again I guess.
You realize we’re all talking about Mark Dodge from Louisiana? I’m hoping your talking Mark Dodge from Kalifornia. Ive only heard good things about our Mark Dodge.
Good luck to you. Hope all goes well.

Mine went to KZ status yesterday.
Edit: Today the status changed to KZLD. The dealer said it has two more plants to go to. I'm guessing the bedliner install and the powered running board installation. Anyone else have any thoughts on by theory?

Oh yeah, you're not getting rid of me that easy. I need to stick around and make sure all the old timers on this thread get their trucks.

I did a rough measure based on published specs and it should fit, but I'll measure again once it's in the driveway. I need to clear out that garage stall anyway, just full of junk and a few treasures that need new homes.

Building a garage for yours should be right in your line given your screen name.

My dream after I retire is to buy property big enough to build a nice building for a shop, and maybe long enough to park not only my truck, but my still a dream 5th wheel in, with overhead doors on both ends, just pull though.

My truck finally made it to the rail yard here in my hometown. Dealer expects it to be at dealership this weekend or early next week.

Didn’t I see some said they had a checklist they used to inspect their truck with before accepting it. If you know of it, could you post it .
Just sent it to you! Check your mail!
