2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

For the guys that ordered the mbrp black exaust tip for their 22s.. are you planning on cutting back factory exaust? I just tried fitting mine on and it doesn’t slip over the exaust. Only the 1st 4 inch section of the tip. I don’t want to cut my factory exaust
Must be done. Simple, will not effect your resale value.

Anyone got a good place to buy AMP parts - everywhere I look its full list price - no discounts anywhere?
I got my bedsteps from AutoAnything.com and a couple coupons combined for me. I went thru the coupons that Microsoft Edge's shopping add-on had listed for that site. I recall a 10% worked and also an $80 off. I got $122 off the rear step and 2 side steps.

When I checked today, this coupon worked for the bedsteps - 10PERCENT - 10% Off $99 Or More. But the CC80 ($80 off $750) did not combine like it did last time. There was another AMP coupon listed for side steps - AMP10 - AMP Research Power Step Running Boards 10% Off

Here's a sample cart showing the discounts. Good luck

You have to cut it or it will stick out too far. 5” with the saw truck had12 miles on it

Let me know if you can find a way to increase the sensitivity of it. I feel the exact same way you do about it.
Scubaz66 found it for us.
Not sure I could depend on Lane Assist! I like having control of my vehicle instead of my vehicle having control of me. What if I needed to make a quick jerk to the left/right to dodge an animal or an alligator in the middle of the road, would this Lane Assist allow me to make these corrections or try to over ride my intuition?
Yes it just provides a nudge, it gets overridden as soon as you turn the wheel to avoid any such issue.
The LaneSense system has settings to adjust the intensity of the torque warning and the warning zone sensitivity (Early/Medium/Late) that you can configure through the Uconnect system
Correct. Mine was set to med on both options. I just will try changing the intensity from med to high and the sensitivity from med to early.

This is the trailer I have on order. Im close to signing off on the cads. This is how they will be mounting the 5 cameras provided with the XH7 and XN1.

Nice X-hauler. Who is building it for you? Is it a custom build or standard build with options?

FYI, got my tailgate step on sdtrucksprings for 234 a couple weeks ago. It’s still 240:

According to my dealer on Thursday I'm still D

I got the same email. I would say it emails gathered from Ramchat. I am hoping mine has hoped a train. We shall see.

For those getting this email, did you register somewhere on ramchat with your email info, or through your dealer? Wondering how they are linking the order with your email address. I am at D1 on the order sheet the dealership gave me a couple weeks ago, with VIN assigned on my 2500, haven't seen an email like this, Thanks.

I did give my email to the dealer when I ordered, and to Ram Chat when I ask them for updates. But honestly I don’t put any significance in this email. My wife said it’s prob the only thing I’ll get from Ram for Christmas!

Got my truck!
Ordered 7-24, Limited CC, 6.7.
Picked up at Mark Dodge on Tuesday, fantastic experience as everyone has reported.
Drove to New Orleans for a few days then to Sanibel Island Florida for more vacation. Will be headed back to Oklahoma in a few days.
Observations:
I will say I have only had half ton trucks up to this point, but the ride is better than I even expected. I kept telling my wife ”it is a 3/4 ton truck” while we were on our way to pick it up. We are both very pleased at how smooth and quiet it is.
I am getting right at 20mpg on the highway driving 70-75 mph. Better than other 1/2 tons I have had.
The comfort of the interior is great, I adjust my lumbar support and turn the heat on and this mitigates the lower back pain on long drives (I know you guys get this too)
The cruise control can be set on the steering wheel to use radar or no radar, which I find very handy.
The fold flat back seat panels are great, we travel with our goldendoodle so this was a big deal for us.
Still learning other options.
Thanks to everyone on this forum, I will continue to be in other discussions. for those still waiting, hang in there, it is worth the wait.
Glad to hear you are enjoying the truck. It will be my first 3/4 ton as well. Got the Cummins as well. for me the choice was torque, and possibly a bigger tractor in my future. That being said I had no issues with any of the Hemi's I've owned in the past.
