2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Correct. Well if my salesman could call me back after leaving him a voicemail to cancel..
If you left your deposit via credit card tell them your disputing and they’ll call you back now. Also I had a salesman say he was out of town and we could DISCUSS it in 3 weeks when he got back. Well the GM heard about my credit card dispute and canceled it In heart beat.

Guys,
I'm wanting to do a leveling kit on the truck.
Been looking on line and not sure if I need a 2" or 2.5" kit.
Getting both options, so I'm not sure which one to purchase.
Also any recommendations on manufacture?
Want USA made.
Did one on my 2015 dually diesel and it was a 2" lift. Can't remember company name.
Any input would be great.
Thanks in advance.
Carli is probably the best but a bit expensive and Thuren is a close runner up.

Got my truck!
Ordered 7-24, Limited CC, 6.7.
Picked up at Mark Dodge on Tuesday, fantastic experience as everyone has reported.
Drove to New Orleans for a few days then to Sanibel Island Florida for more vacation. Will be headed back to Oklahoma in a few days.
Observations:
I will say I have only had half ton trucks up to this point, but the ride is better than I even expected. I kept telling my wife ”it is a 3/4 ton truck” while we were on our way to pick it up. We are both very pleased at how smooth and quiet it is.
I am getting right at 20mpg on the highway driving 70-75 mph. Better than other 1/2 tons I have had.
The comfort of the interior is great, I adjust my lumbar support and turn the heat on and this mitigates the lower back pain on long drives (I know you guys get this too)
The cruise control can be set on the steering wheel to use radar or no radar, which I find very handy.
The fold flat back seat panels are great, we travel with our goldendoodle so this was a big deal for us.
Still learning other options.
Thanks to everyone on this forum, I will continue to be in other discussions. for those still waiting, hang in there, it is worth the wait.

Anyone got a good place to buy AMP parts - everywhere I look its full list price - no discounts anywhere?
Not sure what you mean by AMP parts, but I just swapped my AMP running boards from my 2020 Ram 3500 Crew Cab SRW to my 2022 Ram 3500 crew Cab Dually. Some of the parts can't be removed after they are installed, so I found this place where you can order the specific parts you need to swap steps to a new truck.

Do all the 2022 2500/3500 HD trucks come equipped with bed cap rails or is it just certain models? I don't remember seeing this listed as an add on. Wondering if I need to start searching before I install a Tonneau Cover.

I woke up to that email this AM as well.

My truck is built and sitting at the rail yard in El Mirage, AZ….about an hour from the dealership. Just wanting for an auto transporter to take it across town. Email means nothing beside the world and everything in it is crazy right now and no one knows what’s going on. No one.

Day 6 of “Truck Watch”.

My first delivery estimate was Dec 3-12. Second was Dec 5-15.

Wake up every morning hoping today I get the call.
Did you get a build sheet/window sticker prior to this email? I had a ship date of 12/2 and was pushed until 12/13. I don't have a build sheet or window sticker but the salesman texted me yesterday saying looks like I am still shipping on Monday. We shall see

Yes. My window sticker and build sheet came up back in mid November.

I just pyaBDS 3” on my 22 had a 6” 4 link on my 16 much better springs than stock . With Fox shocks. Jack It had the best price

More reasons to go diesel than just tow rating.

Exhaust brake is a huge one for me living out west in the mountains. If you’ve ever fought a trailer down a mountain riding your brakes and trying to keep it slowed via transmission alone…like I said exhaust brake almost worth it alone.
Yes, I am at 55,000 miles and have my factory brakes.

After reading the post about DEF fluid I just took it with a grain of salt (no pun intended), then while driving today I heard a business report on stocks and it was mentioned. It is apparently quite real, Russia and China, the latter being the major exporter, are cranking back and halting the export of the product due to it being a major fertilizer. Stocking up with a short shelf life is futile, except for the next few months due to the fact that some bought today are already close to expiration. Always check the date on it when you purchase. The good news is there is no shortage of DEF Leppard…..

Major fertilizer, for what, something else they are shipping here for us to eat? It's corrosive as he'll, basically uric acid.

Awesome truck!......What was your MPG's average ( I know you'll get better once you get more miles on it) Just curious. Also What gears do you have and is it an HO Cummins? Thanks in advance.
Its the HO cummins with 4.10 gears. I averaged 13 hand calculated and 15 per the display. My MPG was terrible due to traffic, and mainly averaging over 80mph lol. I knew I would have bad MPG, but I just wanted to get home

I apologize for being a little off topic, but the current comments reminded me. I have searched for this and just not found much for answers. I have a diesel dually coming chosen for fifth wheel towing. It will be our only vehicle. Retired and drive ridiculously little when not camping. I mean 2-3000 miles per year. Are there things I can do to be kind to the diesel in those stretches of no load/not getting up to temp? Or is that amount so small that it doesn't even matter? Thank you for any input.

I think my truck, on the train between Memphis and Nashville was held up by the tornado that came though Dickson. Maybe trees across the tracks? Time will tell, it has not shown up here as far as I know and stopped in Bruceton, a bit West of Dickson that morning.
