2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Today Ram Chat says my truck is in transit to the dealer. I asked if this meant it was loaded on a truck from the rail yard however, he said he was unable to see that information. It has been sitting at the rail yard in IL for about a week so I am hoping this means I am getting closer to receiving it. This is the first time they have said it is in transit to the dealer so fingers crossed my 2022 3500 SRW Laramie shows up at the dealer anytime!
KZX, it's at the dealer.

I checked your equipment listing and window sticker and its not on there (Ramcharger Wireless Charging Pad). On my sticker its lists it right below the Leather trim bucket seats (which you have). When I ordered it (7/01) said it came with the Leather trimmed bucket seats) I have a Level B package and you have a level A....that's about the only difference between our trucks in options (other than I have a DRW, Cummins)....It doesn't make sense....my truck was built after yours on 11/20.
Well dang.... I ordered my Laramie CC on 05/07 and got all the packages. Just looking at my build sheet, but I dont see the wireless charge pad listed. I hope it is included in one of my packages. Would really suck if it isnt!!! Anyone with thoughts?

Wait until your equipment listing populates....I'm pretty sure that you'll have it.....speaking of which I can't believe your truck hasn't been built yet....you went D1 on 11/9....when mine went it was built 20 days later....it really doesn't make sense.

It is my understanding the wireless charging pad is included in Laramie Level B. Not any of the other packages on a Laramie.

From the 2021 HD Brochure:

After checking, thinking I just don’t have it. I don’t see any charging lights. Bummer, thought it was standard on Laramie or at least was in Level A package.
Wireless charging come on the Laramie?

Question answered above after I refreshed.

This post is an example of what you can get out there using my exact build as an example and intended for those just stumbling onto this site (as I did).

MSRP of 2022 3500MC HO with 8yr ESC and $995 dealer fee as charged by my local stealer: $97,019 (tax excluded)
Purchased price from your “friendly” Dodge super store (There are a couple): $82,673 (ALL fees included, tax excluded)

That relates to a 14K savings, 14.8% off of MSRP!!

The info made available on this sight is nothing short of priceless, without it I and many other would have paid a LOT more. In my case I have a 800 mile drive which could be viewed as the only negative. I would gladly do the same again for the savings and getting exactly what I want. The drive home will provide any pre tow beak in along with giving me some truck bonding time in preparation for my trip next week.

Good luck to those behind me and THANK YOU to those who have contributed.
I'm 34 miles from you and will be making that same drive. :)

It is way more reliable when the phone is not in the case but this truck seems to work way better than the old one did. You have to be sure to line it up and it works, one way or the other it gets temperamental.

I am not sure about 2022 Ram wireless chargers, but the ones I had in 2019 and 2021 truck were pretty much useless as they charged so slow.

You called the railyard? How do you get numberr to do that? Was it the Baltimore one? Mine has been setting there for 2 weeks.
I found which transport company was taking it from railyard to dealer and emailed them from their website, they gave me the number for that yard. Hansen and Adkins was who was taking mine from GA to SC. He said they are backed up but he’ll put mine on a hot rush and hopefully have it to my by Monday at the latest.

I hope so. I cant believe it either LOL. I am the black sheep of the forum. Hopefully soon. I have an estimated ship date of 12/17, but still no build date info.

I‘ve asked before, but does the phone charger work with a Otter Box Defender? 12 Pro Max
You would probably have difficulty in jamming the phone into the charger. there is a pretty strong clamp that retains the phone. I always had to put mine in sideways and getting the sweet spot to get it to charge was hit and miss.

Hopefully they are available.
Picked my truck up today. The center pieces were missing also and the dealership is ordering them. Also checked the fuses and had to punch everyone but two down. Ended up being an all day fiasco with the dealership but at least they honored the original pricing. Had to take to straight to the Detailer for ceramic coating, PPF and tenting. Got to drive it a whole two miles so far. Once I get it back next week I’ll post pics of it.
