What is the part number for the Instrument Panel Mounted Aux Switches package?

I placed and signed an order with MD beginning of November and didn't think of adding the AUX switch addition until after I got the VIN assigned. When I asked if I could add the panel switches to the order I was told possibly - BUT the factory was liable to re-invoice the whole thing which would cancel the price protection that MD gives. I declined to have it added to the existing order since I don't want to mess with the system!

So....I read on this forum that adding the aux switches later is a pain in the royal _ss. But, if I'm up for that pain, is there a part # for the aux switch panel accessory that includes everything the factory would have added for the measly $145? I understand that not only the panel switches, but the wiring harness to a separate fuse box is part of the package.

EDITED:
I just found this thread that has good info. There doesn't seem to be an OEM kit that one can buy, but someone mentioned in the thread has put a kit together.

I highly doubt there is a way to buy the OEM setup after you take delivery. The AUX switches are not just the extra hardware, its a software integration as well. You set button functionality (momentary or latching), and power source (battery or ignition) through a menu on the dash. If it's not too late and you can still add with minor inconvenience, I would.

I did inquire about adding the switches to my already placed order and was told the factory was liable to re-invoice the whole thing which would cancel the price protection that the dealer gave. That sounds bizarre to me since all they have to do is add the part number and the price to the invoice and I sign it again. But, I told the dealer I didn't want to mess with anything so to forget it. I'll write another post and see if others have been able to add to an existing order with no problems.

I have a friend that added AUX switches to his 2012 ram. That was before they had any dash software integration. The hardware wouldn't be hard to get or install. I would think you just wouldn't have the software control of functionality.

You must be new here… take a peak at the alfaobd threads almost anything can be added because of that program that can change BCM settings the software is the easy part with that wonderful program

def possible. I've done it as well as others.
If you remember the where and how, would you be willing to share the link where I may find part #s for the OEM setup? I can deal with the BCM/ECM side of things once the truck arrives and parts are installed.

I bought the aux switch panel from mopar online. the key is to match up the correctly optioned panel to the option on your truck.

it's going to be the same aux switches. it may require a call to your service dept.

Mopar Online doesn't have RAM 2022 parts listed - yet.

Not quite the same, as far as looks, so it’ll depend on preference. But, yes, 2019-2022 switches will work. The 19-21 switches are glossy on the upper row, and 2022 went to matte black on the switches.
